No one match really stands out. Jeff Hardy vs. Samoa Joe ended in a draw, which some people will say should've been the finish to Joe-RVD 2 weeks ago, leaving fans wanting more.
The street fight was lazily booked. The breakaway beer bottle has become too much of a crutch weapon for James Storm to use. In this case, there's nothing that can be done, but they need to change the booking, and fast. Beer Money doesn't need the tag titles and it would be a travesty if Russo decided that they would get one more run. I'm sorry, but not now.
Not on board with AJ Styles winning the Global title. That was also lazy booking. When you consider that Madison Whiner got the women's title back, since there was no evidence to prove her soon-to-be-ex-teammates were involved at Victory Road, it is only fair that Rob Terry be awarded the Global title after a video review reveals Kazarian's infraction. This is how it must be booked:
For Impact, 7/29:
We learn that after a video review, the decision is reversed, and Styles is DQd for interference, with the Global belt returned to Rob Terry. A rematch is ordered, but Styles MUST go it alone. That match will take place the following week, but Terry gets a fall back from Styles in a tag team match.
7 months ago, Tommy Dreamer cut an emotional promo for his exit from ECW. Now, he's ripping WWE for the way they mishandled ECW from 2006-10. It took him that long to realize he was working for a deranged lunatic?![]()
So Hard Justice is now going to be TNA's answer to One Night Stand. Hopefully, they've learned from the past.......
Virtually every match on the show deserved more time, bottom line. Jeff Jarrett is right when he thinks Kevin Nash is going down the same primrose path as Sting, but then, Nash has always been the "selfish prick" he accuses Jarrett of being, and will take whatever road gets him the most fortune.
