Wow! Already another "?? Days Earlier" episode.
This is the first episode I didn't really care for. I couldn't get very excited for the fights since all those fighting sports I find even more boring than golf and basketball, and I never even really understood the story. Apparently the bad guy was searching for Eddie Dunn for some reason, but I didn't see how Chance entering the fights was supposed to solve that situation and allow Dunn to stop looking over his shoulder. And the other guy Chance wanted $1.8 million from at the beginning, I had no idea who he was. I don't know. Aside from the pool struggle/fight, I thought it was a weak episode.
Poor Winston, though. Haha!! I'd like to know what his blood pressure is when he's out in the field with Chance.![]()

I was watching Fox and Friends on Fox News Channel yesterday morning, and Mark Valley had stopped by for an interview. I did not know that he was trained in the Army, or that he is married to Fringe's Anna Torv!
But I so wanted Christopher Chance to do Ava at the end of the episode when she surprised him in the car.
In the animated music industry, there are two completely different but important girl groups: The Holograms, who are just Truly Outrageous, and the Misfits, who think their music is better. These are their stories.
Law and Order: Starlight Music. (dong-dong)
This show continues to bring it. Valley got to play a lot of nice, quiet vulnerable moments this episode that I really liked.
I appreciated Guerrero's comment at the end because that's pretty much what I was thinking when Winston and Chance were having their BROMANCE moment. And then Grace Park breaks up the ambiguously gay tension by riding off with Chance at the end.
Someone needs to make a gif of that Guerrero fist bump. That was awesome.

I willing to give this episode a pass on doing "days earlier" thing because if you hadn't seen the previews, Chance in the middle of a fight is a far more interesting and intriguing starting point than the meeting with Tony Bevilacqua.
I love Chi McBride, but Jackie Earle Haley's Guerrero is just fantastic and adds so much to the show. His interaction with Eddie Dunn and doing things like getting the second fighter in the boxing hall of fame like it was nothing was great. I loved the reveal that the Frank he kept trying to get a hold of was the referee.
Eva betting everything Hugh Prentiss had against Chance was awesome. She turned out to be a pretty big part of the plan for being a wild card in the entire proceeding.
Winston assuring Chance that he could handle himself if he ever had to was kind of a touching moment and I look forward to the eventual flashback showing how these two became a team.
