I'm pretty torn about this episode. I think it is really because I can't stand Will anymore. His dancing, singing, etc just gets on my nerves.

I'll also have to note that Sue wasn't nearly as funny this episode. I thought when she showed up in a suit it was a bit funny, but in the end I really just wanted the evil Sue back, which is thankfully what we got. Also, for being as strong as she is, she sure fell for the guy awfully quick.

Puck was probably the best part of this episode. And by that I mean his solo was pretty freaking good. He is way better than Finn.

Also glad to see Quinn in different clothing, she is pretty.

Overall a pretty eh episode, but ah well, they can't all be amazing.

    Is this a chick show?

Sure feels like it. And the sponsors are beginning to reflect it. There was a lot more makeup and stuff-for-down-there pitched tonight.

I'm secure enough that I can handle a chick show if it's good, but tonight was not good.

Yeah, this episode was kind of weak. I thought there was some hilarious stuff going on in the background (just watch Kurt during the opening number, he's kind of off in the background looking uncomfortable), and I thought Tanaka was interesting and actually pretty cool (though a poor-man's Sue to be sure), but after the all-out brawl we got last week, this just seemed... lame in comparison.

I actually thought Sue's interaction with the newscaster was cool, and the whole idea of her 'hating to lose' came in there big time. Sue seems to be the one character in this show who I can enjoy no matter what she's doing.

But... eh... I dunno. Whole thing wasn't really working for me. It wasn't a bad episode or anything, there just wasn't really anything that made it super-memorable.

Yeah, he's kind of weirdly conceited, well not really... but he often bugs me too. Kinda disappointing because I really liked him last week.

Overall, I just found this episode pretty forgettable and weird... I can't get into a plotline where the main character is at least emotionally, cheating on his, as far as he knows, pregnant wife... it's... a little weird.

Is this the last new episode for a few weeks?

I see a lot of people saying the same thing; but, in reality the sort of thing happens all the time in real life. Is it cool? No; but, human beings will always be attracted to other human beings. You can't just stop an attraction. I don't think it's a big deal because:

1.) Will's wife is a female cleaning product and a liar.
    2.) Will's wife isn't actually pregnant.
3.) Will hasn't acted on his desire despite the temptation.
4.) Just because people get married doesn't mean their right for each other.

I think number 4 is the biggest reason I don't see a problem with it. Real life isn't black and white; it's gray on the best days. I love their portrayal of situation because it mirrors a lot of real life situations.
I miss the good ol' days. Toon zone used to be really fun.

I dunno, I'd be fine with it if Will weren't always portrayed as being so righteous all the time.

I don't judge Gilsig's character nearly as harshly because, let's face it, she's kind of insane.

I wouldn't declare this the best episode of the series so far, but I liked it. My favorite song this week was Puck singing "Sweet Caroline" to Rachel... or to Quinn (or perhaps a combination of the two). Noah (as Rachel calls him) is not as big of a jerk as he acts even though he won't admit it. I was honestly a little unclear on whether or not he cared much about Rachel. She seemed convinced he cares about Quinn, which reminded me of the interaction the two of them had several episodes ago. He did seem pretty upset that she and Finn will never break up.

I don't dislike Will, but I'm always thrown off for a moment when he 'shows the kids how it's done' at practice. I think it's good that he's willing to put himself out there in front of these kids that are shy as a collective group though.

I'm not really sure what to make of Emma/Ken/Will anymore. Just the way the triangle played out this week was kind of confusing. It doesn't make a lot of sense, but we gained a greater understanding of where Ken is coming from. I didn't quite get Will talking about 'not encouraging, but not discouraging' her. His attitude didn't seem to change after he talked to Ken about that.

The best mini arc of this episode outside of Puck & Rachel was Finn standing up for himself and talking to Coach Ken about being a leader and what it meant to him. That was neat to see.

Does anyone get their FOX in widescreen? Mine is full frame and that was a pretty epic widescreen fail when neither Will nor Finn were on the screen while they talked on the football field. I'm getting tired of this.

On another side note, I liked the a capella "Flight of the Bumblebee" as the slushies made their way through the hallway. Good stuff.

Yes it is. Next week is game one of the World Series and game six is scheduled for the next week (if needed). The show should return with a new episode the week after (Nov. 11) for sweeps.

Yeah this is why I watch most of my stuff on hulu, especially if it's a fox show. It seems like their too cheap to do two versions and film it all in widescreen and just crop it with no respect to scene if you don't have HD. Yeah I've been getting the same thing. Annoys me more when I am watching House though.

My FOX channel also shows their stuff in full screen, it’s very annoying. However, Time Warner Cable has an HD DVR that works with regular 4:3 TV’s, so if you view the HD channels they are in widescreen. That’s the way I’m watching the show now.

It was an alright episode but modern family was on so i was in the dark for most of it the thong song was just crazy. but the thing with will I guess is he's dork so it's normal for people to get annoyed with him. it's kind of like that episode of the simpsons when they went to shelbyville and martin was dancing around and nelson tried to hit him that's pretty much how it is.

although ken is really irking me he's acting like emma is the only woman in ohio, look man if she's marrying you with a set of rules it's time to leave, just cause that's all that's tolerating you isn't a reason to treat her like a glass rose just hook up with will's wife it's easier.

I agree that the plotline is a little weird, but for different reasons. I totally support Will cheating on his wife, because let's face it, she's a horrible person. I mean, she got the entire Glee club to do drugs. I can't think of a single positive thing she's ever done on this show. I think she's just as bad as Sue, if not worse. But, the thing that makes no sense to me is, why the hell did Will marry her in the first place? I mean, I know people change and drift apart, but there had been absolutely nothing shown to us so far that would give Will any reason to care about his wife at all. He just seems trapped in this contrived marriage.

I have a standard definition set and at least one of my affiliates shows Glee in widescreen.
