Henry Gibson, the voice of neighbor Merv Stimpleton on Rocket Power, died on September 14 at age 73.

I don't really know what to say, but Rocket Power was a pretty good show, and I am sad to see one of the voiceactors die. So sad. Rest in Peace, Henry Gibson.

Henry Gibson was also an original cast member of Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In, as well as the voice of Wilbur the pig in Hanna-Barbera's feature film version of Charlotte's Web. He was also the voice of Downer on CBS's Saturday morning cartoon The Biskitts.

At least the guy lived a long life. Regardless, it's still very unfortunate news. Rocket Power was great. It's pretty sad to see him go, if I know what character you're referring to.

I didn't know that he also voiced Wilbur in the animated movie. This is sad news. I hope that he is at peace and that all of his friends and family will be able to get through this emotionally difficult time.

Henry Gibson, as I found out, was also in "The Outlaws is Coming" w/the Three Stooges and Adam West. I've seen him in "The Blues Brothers" (the neo-Nazi leader) and in a guest gig on "Dukes of Hazzard", among other things.

I had no idea he had done a lot of voice acting, though I know his career went back to the days of Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In. As much as I adore Charlotte's Web, he'll always be Werner Klopek from The 'burbs to me.

It wasn't until I saw his picture that I realized who we were talking about. I know Gibson best from his recent work on Boston Legal as Judge Clark Brown. He was one of the more regular judges, appearing in 24 episodes over the course of the series. I really liked him.
