Why wouldn't RPM be in continuity with the rest of the series?
Also PR-PRJF are clearly in continuity.
I mean its not like the PR series is continuity heavy and its already filled with plot holes, theres really no reason to make RPM not in continuity especially since/if its the last season.

I was thinking that since we haven't gotten any word on a new episode last week, that perhaps there won't be a new episode offered on September 5.
On June 26, we got word that there would be a new episode on August 22.
July 3 has passed. No word of a new episode on August 29, because there won't be one on that day.
July 10 has passed. No word of a new episode on September 5, so I just figured there isn't one.
I hope the pattern is clear. I wouldn't mind being wrong about September 5 though, as I always welcome new episodes. I was hoping that we'd probably get a new episode every week all the way from September 12 (or better yet, September 5) so they'd all be shown by the time Thanksgiving comes around.

- Gem & Gemma are slowly but surely growing on me. The part where the map they drew for Dillon turns out to be a kiddie drawing complete with unicorns was funny.
- Yay! Summer actually did something in this episode! So far, Summer coming off as just being the girl like Tenaya said in Ranger Blue. And I thought this would just be a Dillon & Ziggy episode, like the first episode, then Summer showed up with an awesome entrance.
- Funny how the Grinders had more screentime in this episode than Tenaya 7, the Generals, and Venjix. Heck, all Venjix had was the "Begin the download" stock footage.
- Ziggy using his mad shadow puppet skills to save Summer & Dillon=Brilliant Callback.
- Damn, that zord fight was short. I'm having flashbacks to MMPR S2 due to how short they are.

No, it doesn't. In fact, on ABC's own press site, under "Program Calendar," there are currently no listings whatsoever as to what will air each Saturday morning on ABC Kids, starting with Saturday, September 12, 2009. That program calendar is important because nationwide pre-emptions can been seen on the schedule they release over there. One theory I have is that the lack of September information means Disney may be planning to add some of the more current Disney Channel shows - Wizards, Sonny, or Jonas, to replace the aging ones on ABC Kids in September. I think one of the That's So Raven time slots may be used for a newer Disney Channel show this fall, because it is very unlikely that Hannah Montana is going to be taken off ABC Kids any time soon.
I don't think much will happen as far as Power Rangers goes. It will probably just finish airing its new episodes and then quietly disappear forever.
You're right about August 29, but that's the end of the advance schedules ABC Kids sent out. You haven't heard about Sept. 5 because no one knows.
All of September and the first week of October is wide open for new episodes. But once we get to Oct. 10 -- which would be a West Coast pre-empt to pre-recover the E/I that will be pre-empted because of the Oct. 17 football game -- there's no knowing until we get the next batch of info.

Or, do what the affiliates are probably begging for -- scrap the fourth hour altogether and give it back to the stations.
After this year, ABC won't have the British Open in the morning, which causes two weeks of national pre-emptions of PR.
But they might keep the 12-1 hour under the Kids umbrella because there will be a boatload of pre-emptions next summer for the World Cup soccer tournament
The most recent ratings from Cynopsis Kids gives both RPM episodes a 0.3/2 rating, not as low as last week's numbers, but still just as low as another recent one from three weeks ago. Over at Rangercrew, Burgundy Ranger asked a question if Gem and Gemma had an effect on the ratings, and I think it has, because it appears they have interfered with the "suspension of disbelief" elements when interacting with other characters in RPM. From Media College:
The way Gem and Gemma are acting are unbelievable for a normal person to accept. They should be very sad, depressed that so many people died in an apocalyptic event that their friend Dr. K blames herself for, but yet they're always happy and ready to destroy even more stuff in an already destroyed world - completely abnormal. Without additional information provided to the audience either at their introduction in "Doctor K" or in the recent four episodes, the audience will not accept them as human beings with real emotions. IMO, establishing why Gem and Gemma act the way they do should have been done first, not left as a mystery to the audience. Dramatic irony, where the audience knows something the characters don't, should have been used to explain their extremely odd behavior. Without it, we are left to assume a great deal about the behavior of Gem and Gemma that could have been avoided if established earlier in the storyline. The initial premise can be quite outrageous as long as the story maintains consistency within that premise. There are many things about the Star Trek universe which are basically impossible in the real world, but because Star Trek makes an effort to work consistently within its own universe, the stories become believable. For example, as long as you're willing to accept that the Galaxy is mostly populated by humanoids then there is nothing within the series that will break the believability.
Some stories purposely push the suspension of disbelief to the limit. The Indiana Jones movies were a good example, where the audience was expected to find the improbable antics amusing.
One important area of belief is in human actions and emotion. People must act, react and interact in ways which are believable. In cases where such interactions do require suspension of disbelief, the normal rules of consistency apply. Audiences are very unforgiving if they think a character is behaving in an unbelievable fashion.
I agree.
You couldn't be more wrong if you tried. They have yet to destroy anything that wasn't under control of Venjix which is being used to make more weapons and enemies. They are at war, you win either by decimating the population to such a degree they have no more soldiers to send out or you destroy their ability to make more weapons to such a degree they can't fight. Well with Venjix you could destroy a three trillion robots and Venjix would still have robotic soldiers to send out and fight you, their only hope is to destroy any means of producing the robotic soldiers.Originally Posted by Tommy Lawson
While that is believable it is no more believable than a person who has been driven insane who refuses to allow him/herself to be sad. Also by your standards every human in the domed city should be depressed but it's been proven that they are happy. Just not completely out of their minds happy.Originally Posted by Tommy Lawson
