I just witnessed this movie at the Anime Expo and its Japanese made film that is about a ordinary lonely guy named Jiro, meeting a robotic girl from the future. (who surprisingly remains nameless throughout the entire film) He soon falls in love with this girl as it is his mission to teach her how to be a human and give her a soul.

I thought it was pretty cute and a nice story with some very tender moments. I have to say it was a real tear jerker. I honestly almost cried during some parts and especially the climax, although the climax was rather sudden and unexplained:

A MASSIVE earthquake destroys Jiro's city completely all from buildings falling over and the floor opening up with a fiery pit below. Maybe a warning from the news would've made that moment more logical, however I'd say they may have been trying to go for shock and surprise with the earthquake.
