Could American Bandstand ever come back?

I hope some of you on the forums remember a little show called American Bandstand. Hosted by Dick Clark from 1956-1989. I was thinking, Bandstand ended in 1989 because of two factors. Dick Clark stepped down as host. And his replacement David Hirsch just wasn't the right fit. In 2004 it was made public that Dick was looking to revive AB but it never happened. Can Bandstand work today if it ever is revived? Heck, The reason that AB ended in 89' was because of Dick stepping down and his replacement David Hirsch not meeting expectations. Plus the show was being filmed in a Universal Studios Hollywood Parking Lot. I guess the USA Cable Network didn't have enough money in the budget to build or rent a studio. Not to mention the show had bounced around from the ABC Network to Syndication and then to the USA Network.
