Besides the Raphael/Leo fight and how the film set up where Leo has been since TMNT 2, the rest of the film, to NC, might still live up to reputation that the movie critics gave it since its release: looking like a video game.

Yellow Submarine wasn't a bad movie, it was just very, very weird. Plus, YS was really just a selection of Beatles music videos lightly strung together with some semblance of a storyline.

No, Yellow Submarine is one of my favorite films of all time. Yeah, the plot's all over the place. I just want to see the NC's reaction to some of the more acid trippy esque moments.

he only hates the third one. For the first two he basicly says that they are enjoyable, and fun movies with plenty of flaws but not enough to make them pure crap. The third one was the only one he read seemed to hate.

It does annoy in his Turtles review when he makes it look like Shredder just tripped and fell rather than Splinter taking care of him. That's got to be one of the first few times I got mad at one of his reviews.

Oh, yeah I know he hated the third one(I do too believe me) And didn't hate the first 2 movies. He didn't like them but he didn't hate them. It was kinda in the middle. But, I really don't think he would have enjoyed the CGI one more then the Original Turtle's movie. At best it will probably be at the same level The first TMNT was.

He meant "trips" as in Splinter tripping him, not that Shredder was so clumsy that he tripped himself. And he does have a point that the final battle between Splinter and Shredder left something to be desired.

(Though I guess one could make the interpretation that Splinter was so focused as a martial artist that he was able to defeat Shredder with only one move, but it doesn't make the final battle any longer either way)

Summed up my thoughts pretty well.

It was pretty unnecessary, especially when he admitted it wasn't even a bad movie.

Oh well, at least there were funny jokes. But the Superman, Moonwalker, and TMNT vids are kind of leaving me hungry for more... Something truly BAD, you know? Something that flat out sucks.

Yeah, getting another Geek Fight promo is more inane than having to hear Yatzee complain about fanboys and then goes on about talking about selling his T-shirts on the new Zero Punctuation vids.

Now I ddi bring up the whole "video game" comment and it seems that the TMNT review brought it back up again. The film was alright but it was kinda out of left field when it comes to making a story that newcomers could follow sense TMNT could've worked more as a new origin story where the 13 monsters plot could've been more of a sub-plot as the film re-tells the story of how the turtles came to be, how they met Splinter, all that good stuff.

Now I know nothing about Red Sonja but it seems that it sounds like someone was trying to make a ninja/swordfight film and to the NC, it must be a bad one. I can't wait for the new review and of course even though I've never seen all of the "Melvin" sketch, I'm going to side with those who thought it was a bad idea. To be honest, I found the sketch unnecessary since The Joker is pretty much a one-man show and even he had to change up the story of how he became the way he was with the influence being put on his family, possible imaginary family, in The Dark Knight.

Let's see more of those Video Game Confessions and let the comedy flow through, Mr. NC because you're funny but there will be times when you will upset the fanbase and I'm willing to bet that besides of what I said about your TMNT review, you have unlocked the Fury of the Internets where the fans will bash him for not accepting the film as part of the turtles' continuing success in living past 20 years.

This review was pretty weak compared to the others...and it seems I'm not the only one tired of the on the "Geek Fight" promo. Drop it already.

However, has anyone read the comments? Some people took it too seriously and got upset.

While I thought the review was funny and did touch upon some of the questions I had after seeing it... I don't think it was all that necessary either, especially since it just came out in '07, I think.
