MONEY MATCH
Money in the Bank Ladder Match competitors Christian & Finlay take on fellow participants Mark Henry & Kane in a Tag Team Match. Also, Nikki and Brie Bella clash in one-on-one action on ECW on Sci Fi at 9/8 CT.

Only two matches tonight, and otherwise this felt like an infomercial for Wrestlemania. As if we needed that.

It's been confirmed that Vince McMahon, who returned last night, will induct Stone Cold Steve Austin into the Hall of Fame. That alone is worth the price of admission.

The battle of the Bellas, round 1, was uneventful. Mizizzle & Morrison had to butt in to turn the tide. Sorry, scumbags, but that will cost you come Sunday. Time for you to eat some crow!

The tag match was okay, considering who was in it. Amazingly, we didn't get any pop culture references out of Striker this week. WTF? Just like Kane last night, Henry has no real shot of winning. Then again, Big Show was reportedly meant to be in this match, and Henry is his replacement whilst Show hunts for bigger game. Henry doesn't need the MITB case, really.

No Teddy, no Swagger. Again. That isn't cool.

Yeah this was basically a WrestleMania infomercial. Worst show in awhile.

But when John Morrison came out just texting, I busted out laughing. What a fantastic man.

I think the taping for Smacdown only listed 3 matches.

I noticed it some on RAW, but ECW was much worse in terms of video-arena ratio. I know the Superstars have a big second half of the week and weekend ahead of them, but you would think the free TV before WrestleMania is not the week to skimp on in arena action.

At least the Money in the Bank tag team match didn’t have all the guys in it again. With Henry getting the win here, they’re all going to have some level of momentum going into Sunday. With the MVP-Benjamin rematch scheduled, we won’t be having the other four in another tag match on Friday.

I suppose the next free TV step for the Tag Titles was a one-on-one match between the Bellas. I don’t know that I would call this a momentum builder for Morrison & Miz though.
