The current rumor mill says that Orton will challenge Triple H at Wrestlemania for the WWE Championship.

It really only makes sense at this point with the war on the McMahons to acknowledge HHH as part of the extended McMahon family. I approve.

Well if it's Orton / HHH then who will Edge face off against at WM 25? And please don't say Cena.

The Edge thing really kinda ticks me off.

He's the "Ultimate Opportunist." I get that. It's his shtick, his character, and I'm cool with that. On Smackdown. It works there, because he's married to the woman booking the matches. It flows with the storyline, and even though they kinda over-do it, it works.

But Raw? Come on. Since when can you attack someone and force your way into a World Title Shot? I've always been one of those that feel you should have a solid storyline and earn a title shot, especially a World Title. Strictly from a "WWE World" storyline, even then he should have never been allowed into the chamber. It's not even an "inmates run the show" thing because Raw has a GM now in Stephanie. He's not even on the damn brand.

Plus, it now places us into a 2008 Draft situation where Raw seemingly has no champion because Smackdown holds both belts.

Makes zero sense. And I'm a big Edge fan, so normally I'd be all over this. But not with shoddy writing like this.

When's Edge going to not hold a belt?? When's he gonna wrestle a good old fashion match without gold around his waste or main event? I'm all for edge being edge, but come on! He hasn't "performed" outside of title shots and jobbing in a long while. He doesn't have to be main event all of the time WWE! And now you give him the WHT?? Someone pleas eshut this man down and give someone else a chance. (No more cena, No more Batista) What about JBL? Giving Rey another run? Kane a new run after all these years? I'm tired of seeing the belt go to the expected.

Oh and Kofi being taken out? I'm calling complete bull on that move: At least let him lose and have the taste of gold in his mouth WWE! Don't stomp over your mistake in writing and compencate with "Surprise Surprise Edge" cause he ALREADY DID THAT! I'm so mad right now!

So was there anything else significant on the show or was it really just the five matches and backstage segments?

Congratulations, WWE. You've managed to make me officially sick of one of my favorite wrestlers. So does this mean that Raw is going to go without a world champion until the Draft? The smart thing to do would be having Stephanie as the only acting McMahon make it HHH vs. Edge. vs. Randy Orton in a unification match. Steph is the one who started this whole deal of having world champions exclusive to one brand. It would poetic if she was to one to end it.

Edge had some sweet looking tights. Bright Red all over was great. His new black ones weren't so hot so Im glad those are gone.

This thread really mirrors what No Way Out was. It was one match. Everything else was pretty predictable and just there.

I pretty much take back everything I said going in. I thought the SD! brand match would be the interesting one with some options and build-up, while the Raw brand one would go by quickly and without consequence with Cena easily winning. Boy, was I wrong.

I was stunned when the SD! one opened the show and I was equally stunned that Edge was pinned as a comedy spot. I was also a bit surprised that Jeff was just eliminated and Matt wasn't involved in that at all. So all in all, outside of the Edge comedy moment, which was humorous, this SD! match was pretty boring. It was painfully easy to predict too. I could literally call out who was coming in when and the order of eliminations after Edge was ousted. It was pretty easy to tell that, with Edge out of the equation, Triple H would win the belt.

I thought it was humorous that Triple H looked at the belt in HBK's "boyhood dream" fashion after winning it, as if this wasn't like his 13th time with it. This makes the 4th straight PPV that the belt has changed hands, and it would not be surprising if Wrestlemania makes it the 5th straight. This is too much, and it's a product of WWE's lousy planning. As much as I love Edge, I question why he got the WWE title twice since November when it was just going back to Triple H anyway. What was the point?

Then surprisingly we got Randy vs Shane and it was basically what I expected. Shane getting in too much offense, even beating back both Dibiase & Rhodes. I, at least, thought Triple H would come out to save Shane at some point, but no, Shane just beat back Dibiase & Rhodes and gave Rhodes the coast to coast. At least he lost, which should have been a given, but from the way Shane's been booked, it hasn't been a complete certainty until it happened. Another match that was nothing special.

Swagger vs Finlay continued the trend. It was alright but a little short. It was almost like the PPV had taken too long so far, and this was to make up for it.

JBL vs HBK was well booked, and I really liked it, especially the little involvement HBK's wife had. However, I think the ending was too abrupt. I feel like we should have got a more elaborate ending if HBK was just going to win and free himself.

The Raw chamber ended up saving this PPV. This match was really good. Now I know a lot of people are pissed off and/or elated simply at Edge winning the World Heavyweight Title, but because Edge won it, this match probably ended up being 1000x better than it would have been, primarily because Cena was eliminated third (yes, third) after taking Jericho, Rey, and Edge's finishers. I thought it was funny that everyone looked shocked after Cena lost. "Did they just let us beat Cena?" Edge's eyes seemed to say. Haha.

Jericho and Rey started the match and were good throughout. When it was down to Jericho, Rey, and Edge, they had a good little match that devolved to Rey and Edge. Again, the finish was just a spear in the middle of the ring, when they had done better spots earlier in the match, but it was a damn good match and better than I expected.

Now was this the right move? I guess it depends. If Edge stays on SD! and essentially holds the world title until WrestleMania, when he either loses it or keeps it (while Orton wins the WWE title back for Raw), then I guess it sort of makes sense. But if Edge is following his title and moving to Raw, I dont' really like it. Edge has really worked on SD! and Raw is kinda crowded, even if Orton were to switch too. Plus Vicki is on SD!, and Legacy is on Raw.

But if they do the whole "well, SD! has two belts" thing like they did last July, it is kinda cheap since it's going into WrestleMania. It seems like it may just be a distraction from the event. And for what? Another Cena-Edge match? I have no idea who Edge is bookmarked for WrestleMania at this point.

While this PPV was better than Survivor Series, it wasn't all that better. It certainly pales in comparison with PPVs like No Mercy and Royal Rumble.

You're ashamed of going around calling yourself Poffo so you probably got the name Savage because you're ashamed of putting yourself on the same level as your brother because he is much better than you are. YOUR BROTHER IS A HUMAN BEING. YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A SCUMBAG. THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE; YOU'RE A DOG. YOUR NAME IS POFFO." - Ronnie Garvin to Randy Savage, ICW Wrestling, 1980.

Wow, more title changes and some of these guys have only been champion for like a month or so. Eh, I tried to give WWE a chance again, I even watched some of No Way Out (though I wont talk about where) and I still couldn't get into it so I will respectfully say that WWE just isn't for me, but for the people who do love it, thats 100% awesome and you should continue to do so.

Gotta go with you on this one. I agree on every single point. It's not predictability that kills the product. It's the lack of logic.

Here's hoping that ROH can make enough of an impact that it lights a fire under vince. Lord knows that TNA probably won't do it. No offense to TNA fans. Even with the faulty booking in some cases, what about the matches?

I gotta agree here, both companies could learn a thing or two from eachother and make the overall product stronger.
