"Burning Man"? I think you mean "Burning Urethra" -- that place is a massive colony of venereal diseases being nurtured by their human servants. -zombie

Wow. Four replies (now five) in the thread the morning after the episode aired. I remember the days when it was impossible to keep up with a Hero's thread.
Another sub-par episode this week. Getting really tired of the "Claire's special to both of us. Leave her alone." plot... if it can be called that. Also, as much as I like his character, Ando came off a little forced this episode. "I kill Hiro in the future. He's alive! Yes! Yes!"
Formerly N. Frederick, among a bunch of others.
I read a review of last weeks episode and it gave the show positive reviews but then I watched it and the whole second half seems forced. I'm one of the few that loved EVERYTHING Heroes did , including the first half of this season, But this is raelly boring me.. except for Sylar's side story.
Right now Sylar side story is the only thing keping me interested..
I guess I just don't get it. I mean, so Peter's powers all of a sudden came back, they aren't even going to tell us ? And what about Mohinder ? I thought he lost his powers too, he wasn't even an authentic evolutionary, he gave himself powers. And where is that one girl he was living with ? And don't tell me that's how Daphnee dies ? They barely expolored the character. Gah.
I'll still watch but I'm already not liking whats happening.

I enjoyed the episode. I like where there heading with Peters character, slowly turning into a leader, his speech was great at the end. Sure they limited his powers but I think they'll slowly return letting Peter be able to develope as a character. Which is some thing I feel he needed. Hiro is annoying without is powers but than he was annoying last Volume two meh. I liked the Peter/Tracey duo they do have chemistry, I hope Peter goes back to save her without getting caught. I liked seeing a bass Matt wonder if he will go that way now that he really wants revenge, wonder if hey'll want to kill Nathan for this? Sad to see Daphney go, but some thing tells me she's not dead![]()
Claire was just as annoying as Hiro this episode, stop freakin getting caught girl. Plus her actor is horrible, go back to acting school yish. Nathan starting to feel bad about what he's doing is good, but I don't think the heroes wil ever be able to trust him agian after this no matter what not even his brother now![]()
Sylers plot is lame but at least he has his humor to pull him threw, I just hope he meets up with Peter soon. I'd like to see him fight Peter in his new power, maybe Peter would still be on par with him who knows. HRG is making me sad with his repeat storyline but its cute how hes protecting Peter *Awe* Over all an ok episode, it has its few prob but than what doesn't these days LOL.
One Piece fan. Bleach fan.
Peter injected himself with the formula last season, they never really talked about Mohinder, and which girl, the one that died or the one that he tried to kill?
Personally, I'm really enjoying this season so far. It's good to get away from the "THE FATE OF THE UNIVERSE IS IN OUR HANDS!" stuff and stay on a smaller scale.
Also, Sylar has a Robin. Didn't see that coming.![]()

Alright, so, this episode was alright.
One thing that would make this show a lot better...
Kill Claire.
Remember how last week she was kind of useful? Well, this week she did nothing. NOTHING. Except be captured and have her father's bicker over her. I was rooting for the Hunter to off her, but nooo, stupid Nathan. And since when has he ever cared of Claire? Why should he bother now?
Clarification on Peter's power and I am kind of upset. Ten bucks says he takes Sylar's empathy power and uses that to stack them up again.
Daphne. DONT BE DEAD!
Parkman actually doing something ruthless with his powers? YES!
And honestly, I was worried about the Sylar story being re-hashed, but he is by far the best thing in this show right now. Digging that he has a new partner, PLEASE DONT KILL HIM!
Oh and Nathan is such an ass, how could he do that to Tracy?
If they would have done this arc much earlier (like in season 2), it would have been much more enjoyable. This is definitely a step from "save the world from a certain doom" but I can't enjoy it knowing how much characters have change since season 1.
I think the show is gaining back some of the momentum it has lost. Peter, no longer the most powerful man on earth, has started using his powers intelligently (ohmigod, did I just use the words "Peter" and "intelligently" in the same sentence?). No more dickering about whether or not Sylar is going become sypathetic; he works best as a soulless bastard and that's what we're seeing now. And now he's got a sidekick! I love it.
Matt has had too many moments of utter uselessness in the course of the series, and any time he takes the gloves off is a memorable moment. And best of all, we are seeing several characters acting as a TEAM. I've wanted that since the beginning of the series.
Who IM'ed Claire at the end? It wasn't Peter; he was the one who gave the team the "no cell phones" rule and there's no reason why he would break that rule. But it's someone who has Claire's number. And who has reason for hating people who round up superhumans. My guess: West is coming back.
"The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane." Marcus Aurelius
Why does Claire always have to be the damsel? She said last season she was gonna fight and do stuff and yucking up all that talk of helping, but she ended up being still the useless little girl who can't die. When's she gonna get her shining moment?
Daphne getting killed was a stupid move. I hate when they take the "season only character" route. Miya was an exception, but Mika, his cousin, West and Daphne still had a lot of development that they could've carried on with. Plus killing Nicki was also stupid. Its still a good show, however they dropped the ball and missed too many opportunities. Its just frustrating.
