Whether they're on TV or not, the kids will still see Sonny With A Chance no matter what. It's already received a 7.5 rating on Tv.com Plus the Jo Bros will have a theatrical film, Camp Rock 2, their TV show coming soon on Disney Channel and their 3D film so that's a heck of other means of seeing these boys rock out to please their adoring fans.
For the first episode, it wasn't that great. Some of the characters seemed to be ripped from the pages of Stereotyping 101. You have the most popular, self-obseesed blonde...like any other DC show, the Timon and Pumbaa/Kenan and Kel of the group. If you haven't seen the very beginning of episode 1, you may not know who I'm referring to as the new comedy tag team. Here's a hint: Dolphin Boy. There's the little pipsqueak who's pretty much had a month's worth of coffee but is not on Rhino from Bolt level. Last but not least, you have Sonny who continues to suck up to the head cheerleader, again referring to the self-obsessed blonde, even if she doesn't like her back, has a voice sounds too much Lindsay Lohan-y.
Can 'Lindsay Lohan-y' be a word/phrase?
...and let's not forget the end when the show comes to a screeching halt because of the infamous Bee Rap. Warning: This may cause you to hate rap performed by young celebrities who can't rap in the first place forever.
All in all, because I didn't see the second episode partnered with the first episode, I will give "Sketchy Beginnings a.k.a. Episode 101....a one and a half star.
I don't need a signature. I'm too cool for one. LOL
Well the show premieres tonight, let's see if it will live up to the name of "The kids version of 30 Rock".
(...It won't)
"Life isnt divided into genres. Its a horrifying, romantic, tragic, comical, science-fiction cowboy detective novel. You know, with a bit of pornography if you're lucky."

I thought the first episode was okay a bit. The only thing that bothered me was the blonde girl and her jealousy for Sonny, as if SHE was the main star of the program, or as if she was like London Tipton (particually in the first episode of Suite Life on Deck). Also, isn't Sonny's mother played by one the girls from Strong Medicine (I believe) and Facts of Life???Anyways, I'd give this half a star.

A Columbia Picture!
All I will say is...if you can only see one of the two episodes airing tonight make sure it's the second one. It's WAY better! It's Steve Marmel being allowed to do whatever he wants.
I'm still not convinced because wasn't he behind some of the worse episodes od The Fairly Oddparents.
As to who is Sonny's mom, it's someone from The Facts of Life. Not sure who she is since she's not in the main credits therefore the kids wouldn't remember who she is since she's probably listed as a special guest star in the ending credits.
Also three mintutes until the show premieres.

Honestly, so far I'm not impressed, then again I wasn't expecting much. The show kinda seems like if the final season of All That had a behind the scenes show.......and it had Demi Lovato in it.
And that DolphinBoy "sketch" gave me bad thoughts.

Same here. The Dolphin Boy sketch can be viewed in so many dirty ways.
No matter what happens, the show will just be the "run-of-the-mill" DC show with annoying characters and unfunny one-liners not like there were any one-liners in the show so far.
Maybe, like SLOD, SWAC will get better in certain episodes.

The second episode was better only because it had a solid plot, and the rest was pretty much about as entertaining as ameteur enterpitive dance.
I more than likely won't be watching this in the future unless I'm forced to, it really isn't that great.

um...no.It's pretty much agreed that Marmel was the real genius behind FOP and Danny Phantom. You go into the Nick board and everyone pretty much agrees that FOP sucks now cause Marmel is gone.

The second episode had some good stuff. The kid who plays Chad made me laugh. Demi being hit by food the entire episode was kinda funny as well. And I especially enjoyed the scene where Sonny and Chad are talking on the Mackenzie Fall soundstage and the backdrop is changed.
