This, personally, is my favorite of the series. You could definitely tell that Paramount sinked some money into this one to make Jason's return a big event: the production values are pretty good, the pacing is tight, it's got some original (and cool if not funky) Alice Cooper songs, and the whole thing just seems . . . epic. C.J. Graham is also my favorite Jason. I dig it.
Trivia: Voice actor Roger Rose is the guy who gets speared (along with his girlfriend) on the motorcycle, and the kid who gets knifed in the head while driving the motorhome is the nephew of John Travolta!

My favorite, but it could have been better. Dumb kid should know better, you don't dig them back up!
But at least it didn't steal it's name from a Muppet movie like part 8.

This is one of my favorite F13 films.
The kills are creative, Alice Cooper's songs are awesome (Nothing beats He's Back), and C.J. Graham did a good job as Jason. I mean yeah, the whole thing seemed epic and that's great. After all, this film was Jason's return and it didn't disappoint.

And to think that if Paramount hadn't sold the franchise, we might have gotten 'Slasher Treasure Island', 'The Great Hockeymask Killer Caper', and 'A Voorhees Christmas Carol'.

This was an okay film, the thing I liked most is it had a dead body every 4 1/2 minutes apparently, and the kills were cool. Jason looked a little off though, not as classic as his part 4 look.

Still my favorite of the Paramount Friday movies. Megan Cooke made for a cute and effective final girl, and I thought Thom Matthews made a good Tommy Jarvis.
The best part about this one was that it didn't take itself too seriously and also strayed from the Friday formula with things like the car chases. Overall just a real fun movie and you have to love Jason's utility belt.

I've been watching a lot of horror movies to get into the spirit of the month of October and Halloween and of course you can't go the month without watching a Friday the 13th movie starring everyones favorite mass murderer, Jason Vorhees! I've seen this film a couple times before and while it's not my favorite in the Friday the 13th series, I wouldn't call it my least favorite either, it ranks about #5 for me when comparing it to all of the other "Friday" films and the main reason I like this movie is because the killing seems to never stop, Jason plows through someone every couple of minutes and the thrill ride doesn't stop. Now, the story in this flick isn't good or anything but It's acceptable for a horror film, the way they bring Jason back to life was completely laughable of course, they stab him with a pole/spear type thing and then lightning strikes the pole and brings the maniac back to life. Cheesy. But all in all I did enjoy the film and I would give it a 3.5 out of 5 just because it's the kind of movie that you can sit back and enjoy during the Halloween season, it makes a great date movie too, girls love to be scared and they will need someone to hold onto for protection of course.
