Did Danny and Delinda from "Las Vegas" ever end up making that cameo appearance where you see them with a baby? I had read a rumor about that somewhere. I mean it wouldn't have made up for Las Vegas not getting a series finale, but it would be nice. NBC should've filmed the Las Vegas crew hanging out at Josh Duhamel and Fergie's wedding and aired it as the series finale. At this point I think I would take anything and call it a series finale after what NBC did to Las Vegas last year.

Starring Tiki Barbour as "Dead Before Credits!"

There's something kinda Police Squad!-ish about the much-hyped guest star being dead for most of the episode.

Other than that, it's a typical ep for this show--Michael gets involved in some byzantine scheme and gets the snot beat out of him for most of the episode while Sarah busts his chops (because glasses=authority, I guess) because she doesn't understand what's going on and KITT takes his time doing anything because if he did, this would be a half-hour show.

And there's the Bland twins at the computers, who I never bothered to learn the names of. They were very bland.

And then, with five minutes to go, Michael suddenly remembers he can like, fight and stuff, and kicks the crap out the bad guys. Oh, and maybe KITT transforms.

I didn't hate this one as bad ass the KARR bait and switch or Patton Oswalt masterminding the most complicated bank job in history, it was just . . .kind of there, really.

Every action/adventure show needs the "underground cage fighting" episode and this week was Knight Rider's turn. They all play out pretty much the same way with our hero stepping into the cage to take on the most dangerous person in it and often times having to save his cohort who surprising ended up in deep. Then they get the evidence out and get the snake oil salesmen running the show arrested for whoever was murdered.

The Smallville episode, "Combat", the Star Trek: Voyager episode, "Tsunkatse" and the "Last Man Standing" episode of the TV series version of The Net all played out very much the same way (and those are just the ones I remember seeing). This one replaced the WWE Superstar with a football player even though to follow the formula, Monster should have been a wrestler.

I didn't plan to be this critical when I started typing, but it just flowed. I have always said that this series is not high drama and that I am okay with that, but after an episode like this one, it may be literally too dumb to live.

Not yet they haven't anyway. I remember reading the interview where Thompson said that, but we have no confirmation. I went over to IMDb and apparently they have already decided the show in cancelled, listing 2008-2009 as the dates of the show's run. I would say things are not good for renewal, but I don't believe the decision has been made.
