The Xena series finale (spoilers)
anyone see this 2 hour episode? i'm not the most hardcore xena fan ( i missed most of this and last season) but i always watched it on and off and was really into it back during the 97-99 seasons, and i have to admitt that i was alittle dissapointed by the finale. it was one of the best episodes, but just not what i would have wanted for a last episode. i was hoping more of the gods would be involved, and more of the supporting cast (although since i havent seen most of this season i dont really know whos left of the supporting cast.) but anyway i loved the kiss between xena and gabrielle (but it wasnt that much of a lesbian kiss, i mean, xena was dying), and i liked how gabriel was picking up where xena left off after xena died. but i didnt like the fact that xena sacrificed herself for what was all a big accident. also, i was hoping the last episode would create some kind of resolution to the show's whole cross-over from ancient mythology to christianity (although, again, i dont know if that was already covered this season). but it was a decent episode, but i was hoping for more of a grand sendoff. but then again, i must admitt, it was nice to see it end with a quaint little story mostly just involving the 2 main characters. that was nice. i guess i liked it on one hand and didnt on another. but for those who have seen this season, can you answer a few questions for me.....
what happened to eve, and how the heck did she age so quickly. oh, and who was her father?
what happened with the whole story line about the greek gods loosing thier powers and all that stuff?
what happened to joxer, if anything.
and, i saw an ep using norse mythology, where xena gets this ring and imprisioned this woman who turned into a monster, but the imprisonment happened 30 years ago (xena time), but xena appeared to be the same age 30 years ago. what was with that? was there any time travel in this season??
thanks and lets hear from all you xena fans who saw the last ep. did you like it, not like it, what? peace.

Xena would make a great animated series, but it would only work under a strong, focused vision. That Xena/Hercules animated special a few years ago...uh....blew....chunks. The art and character design was just out of place, and the story...gah.
