"Entourage" Season Five Talkback (Spoilers)

I'm surprised that there isn't a thread for this yet. The season premiered last weekend and tonight we're getting the second episode. Did anyone watch the first episode and are looking forward to the new one tonight?

I did, i knew Meledin bombed, but i dint think itd take over the news like it did (it was humorous), and since when is Drama such a big shot?

and that raper/movie guy from "Like Mike" (forget his name) playing the murphy groups new client is just awesome, i can tell il like his character.

If i was Vince i wouldve never left that beach, that was the life right there

I just love how Ari stormed into the other Agency to get Davies, the music was so badass, then he slaped Davies and made him apologize in front of all the other people there. BEST SCENE IN THE SERIES.

Davies might as well kill himself now, hel never live that down.

That scene was awesome, but I think I enjoyed the scenes where they were pranking each other a lot more.

I just saw episode 3. It was definitely one of, if not the, best episodes in the series. I was laughing my ass off when Ari told Lloyd to send Davies that little present.

ep 4, i think Eric should go with Norton and the 2 mill, his clients he has to put his clients before his friendship with vince. Drama got eaten alive on that TV show.

Based on the previews for the next episode thats what it seems is gonna happen.

Tonight's episode was hilarious. Ari trippin' out in the dessert was gold.

I love when Drama mistaked Arnold for a random rock, and Ari trippin was priceless.

This episode had some of the best lines.

If there was an online quiz for "Which Entourage character do you most resemble while he's tripping on mushrooms?" Ari would be that character for me. I don't like, and never have, taken anything that makes me lose control of myself.

I do enjoy the episodes that take us out of the Hollywood framework every now and then. Plus, it's good to see Ari with the guys.

Confucius say "forget this episode ever happened".

This was easily the worst Entourage episode of all time. Mushroom-"trippin" is only fun for a few minutes, and none of them pulled it off particularly well anyway. The whole thing was just an irritating diversion from what was shaping up to be an interesting storyline. Let's hope they get back on track next week.

Very good return to form after last week's lameness. I thought it was going to be another stinker when Dom suddenly reappeared, but although the family angle was just a touch heavy-handed, it worked quite well and managed to redeem what was previously a completely insufferable character, and the return of Martin Landau was just icing on the cake.

I totally thought Dom rode away at the end, and when they reveal it wasn't him, i felt kind of guilty, im such a distrusting person.

great episode, Ari gave a look like if he was going to turn his life in a new direction at the end of how "whats his name, guy who hates Vince" died.

After the hideous mushroom episode, all is forgiven. This week was a pure Grade A episode, and the final scene at the airport with Vince and Ari getting on different planes was pretty heavy stuff for this show. I do think it's a good idea to promote Ari. Things were getting a bit stagnant with him in the agent role, and upping him to studio head should shake things up nicely, and hopefully bring Dana Gordon back in the picture. I always liked her. On one hand, it does seem a little bit like they rushed the setup for Ari to leave the agency, but on the other hand, it does say something about his opportunistic nature, so I guess it's all good. The only thing really missing for this to have been an A+ episode was Billy Walsh.
