"ECW" 9-9-08 Talkback (Spoilers)
Tonight there is a new ECW Champion! Matt Hardy won the ECW Scramble at Unforgiven and now reigns at the top of the brand!

Golden Fate
September 9, 2008
Matt Hardy made Extreme history at Unforgiven on Sunday night, when he secured ECW gold after a Twist of Fate to The Miz during the ECW Championship Scramble.
After winning an Eight-Man Tag Team Match last week on ECW on Sci Fi, Hardy gained the momentum he needed to finally win the ECW Title, taking it away from the World’s Strongest Man at Unforgiven, and defeating Finlay, The Miz and Chavo Guerrero, as well.
As the new king of ECW, how will Hardy change the Land of the Extreme? Now that he holds ECW’s top prize, will anyone be able to stop the determined Superstar? Will Mark Henry be looking for revenge? Will Finlay, Miz and Guerrero ever get another chance at the ECW Championship?
Tuesday night on ECW on Sci Fi, Ricky Ortiz proved once again his Ricky O. Rally Towel is the good luck charm he needs to help him continue his hot streak. It seems every week the WWE Universe waves the Ricky O. Rally Towel, Ortiz picks up another win. This week, Ortiz defeated SmackDown’s Ryan Braddock with The Big O to up his undefeated streak to 5-0. Will anyone be able to stop Ortiz, who came to ECW as part of General Manager Theodore Long’s New Superstar Initiative? Will the WWE Universe continue to rally behind this confident newcomer?
Find out the answers to these questions and more on ECW on Sci Fi Tuesday night at 10/9 CT. Don’t forget, ECW on Sci Fi will begin airing at 9/8 CT on Sept. 30.

Bourne & Morrison were in the best match of the night for the 2nd straight night, but it gets ruined by Mizizzle butting in where he didn't belong. Grisham mis-spoke when he claimed Morrison didn't want his running buddy at ringside, and yet, there's Miz, in living color.
Jack Swagger (FCW champ Jake Hager) looks like a keeper, and could be the one to end Ricky Ortiz's streak. Inoffensive squash had a calming effect after the opener.
Don't know about Mike Knox's future now. 2 weeks ago, he jobbed to Finlay. This week, he eats the Twist of Fate from Matt Hardy, which all but kills what chance he might've had to be a contender, methinks.
Well, at least it was better than Raw.

Of course they had to put a stupid nameplate on the ECW Title. I really liked that it didn’t have one and then someone stick in between ‘ECW’ and ‘Champion.’
Well, I guess “There are gonna be a problem between” Matt and Tony Atlas after that Twist of Fate.
I enjoyed the Morrison-Bourne match, where numbers were the ultimate factor. That part I didn’t like as much, but Evan can’t win all the time.
“The All-American American” Jack Swagger? Who comes up with these names? Plus they gave him Jamie Noble’s old theme song and I always have a tough time with people who don’t merit an original tune. Not bad in the ring, but not enough to thrill me.
I find I don’t have a lot of thoughts on the main event... That’s it.

I noticed that too, didn't quite make sense to me.
