Am I the only one who thinks Prison Break lost its touch?

I loved the first season and the second season was fine,but the third season went way to far.I mean I really thought it should have ended then, it is way too much.

I think they ruined it when they killed Sarah, and had Linc hide it. Yeah, I know the actress left the show, but they should have given her a happily ever after. His love dead and betrayed by his brother, you've basically stripped Michael of all hope and left him with revenge. And that's not a Michael that interests me.

Really, they had two seasons of brilliance, and I prefer at this point to pretend that season two ended five minutes earlier than what we saw on the screen. Just like I like to pretend that Nip/Tuck ended when Sean and Troy left Miami with happy endings for everyone, and try to forget all the L.A. shenanigans.

Yeah, I'll probably still be watching both next season.

While I watched almost no episodes of season two, I agree. The final episode was SO CLOSE to delivering a good ending. It's shows like this that make me wish American television studios would put more consideration toward limited series. The original story for Prison Break was a two-season show, period. Anything beyond that is just milking the same old drama and the same old formula with different characters and new prisons.

Sounds like you all decided what I decided. I accepted that almost-ending scene from Season 2 as the real ending and consider the rest of this stuff non-canonical filler. Prison Break isn't the kind of premise you can stretch indefinitely. It can only get worse from here.
