How Many Midnight/Advanced Screenings Have You Attended?
I imagine that many of you (if not most) will be watching The Dark Knight is less than 24 hours at the midnight/advanced screening. So...how many have you attended and what was your favorite and least favorite?
My first was actually Batman Begins back in 2005. I had just graduated from high school so I was allowed to attend these things. I followed that up a month later with Fantastic Four. My third was almost a year later. It was X-Men: The Last Stand. Then, it was Superman Returns a month later. A year later I followed it up with Spider-Man 3. My next one wasn't a midnight screening, but it was an advanced screening nonetheless. It was Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. Then it was Superbad. Another year passed by and I attended the advanced screenings of Iron Man and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
My favorite was X-Men: The Last Stand. The movie wasn't all that great, but the audience was very entertaining. My least favorite was Spider-Man 3. Mostly because I ended up watching that one alone and the audience wasn't all that great.

Much of the same as yours. Spiderman 3. Batman Begins. All three Lord of the Rings movies, even though I feel asleep for part of them. Dead Man's Chest. Matrix Reloaded. Superman Returns. And tomorrow Dark Knight.
Oh, and Cloverfield and Transformers.

The only midnight showing I've ever gone to was a special showing of Halloween, for the 25th anniversary convention in Pasadena in 2003. Saw it in a really cool old-fashioned movie theater, The Rialto, completely packed and with one of the co-stars in attendance. With all the yelling and cheering and applauding, it's an experience I'll always remember.

I can imagine. These screenings where only fans show up are usually the most fun.
