COMMENTS?

Ok I take it back, this is a pretty good film. It still may be the weakest in an undoubtedly strong oscar season but for it what it is the film is good and a major improvement by Wright over his somewhat off version of Pride and Pedjudice. I also did not expect the ending to go in the surprisingly bleak direction it went, a feature brought on no doubt from McKewan's original novel.
