I knew it! I knew Dave would take a jab at NBC. I admit it was a good one.
EDIT: I forgot to mention how my favorite moment was when Dave was about to plug in heated underwear when the lights dim, and a writer talks about how we should support the writers so Dave can finish the joke.

The top ten list read by by the Daily Show and Colbert Report writers was fantastic, especially the "I want to date a woman" line. I thought it was funny that they showed one of Hal Gurdee's NBC Network Timekillers from the last writers strike. Tomorrow should be a pretty good show, with Bill Maher, who'll probbly have some funny things to say about the AMPTP, and also, Ellen Page, who was pretty good in Juno.

Hilarious return to form. The top 10 was very funny, as was the bit with Jack Jackoway (I'm still laughing at the name!) and the public service announcement from the WGA. Plus, Robin Williams added more comedy to the show.

I watched the first episode and some of Friday's. Other than the WGA strike comments, it seems like Dave never left. He's talked about shaving the beard tonight on air, so I will have to tune in. Mike Huckabee will be continuing his talk show rounds.

My final post of January. Dave's Beard is off now.
Nothing to say.

"He looks like the white hunter who ignores Tarzan's warning."

That was great when the Marisa Miller interview came down to Dave not listening and just flipping through the Sports Illustrated.

I think Dave needs to take a break from his "McCain/Spitzer/Etc looks like a guy who..." opening monologue jokes.
