The reality show that started it all continues to raise the bar with its exotic locations and high-risk challenges on SURVIVOR: CHINA. Wow, the series has just started, and this Courtney chick is already pissing me off.
Her whole attitude during the Buddhist ceremony. Looks like we've found the first of our flaky, annoying women of the season.
Chicken checked out on Zhan Hu and so no surprise, they checked out on him. The hard worker who knows how to build a shelter always gets frustrated with the amaeturs, but he took it too far the other way when he just checked out and refused to give his opinion on anything. Oh and settle the hell down, Peih-Gee. She is not gonna last too long in the "home country" if she doesn't tone it down. I'm excited to see the WWE's Ashley as part of Survivor and I hope her getting sick on day 2 doesn't hurt her. She seems to be doing better now.
It would figure that Fei Long would team up the Christian radio host and the gay flight attendant, wouldn't it? I'm not looking forward to Leslie trying save Todd or whatever. I had a tough time with her leaving the opening ceremony, she cheated herself out of a neat experience. And I predict Courtney will cheat herself out of the Survivor experience. She was real abrasive with the camera and you know she is going to be that way with her tribemates. James the gravedigger already looks to be this year's silent hero.

since it reads spoiler in the thread title, I'll spoil the final three right now.

I don't know if you're making predictions or having no concept of what 'spoilers' means so I put it in a box. Spoilers doesn't mean discuss what is know to be coming, it means discuss what has happened on aired episodes freely. So either you're making picks and did it in a way I didn't get, or you made yourself out to be a huge jerk by ruining the show for at least me. You're not a newbie, you should know better than that.

James could end up being a big threat if he can make it to the individual immunity stage. I was amazed at how athletic he was is in that first challenge, combine that with the fact that his mouth probably won't get him in to trouble, and he should do very well.
I was rooting for Ashley to be voted off, especially with the early sickness strike, but Chicken criticzing everyone for doing nothing when he was part of the nothing brought about his downfall.
College football, basketball, the NFL, the NBA, and MLB. I may not be an expert, but these sports always keep me fascinated if the game is good!

Beware The Almighty Hammer Gun!
On the season premiere we met all the new Survivors as they arrived in China. They were divided into two tribes, Zhan Hu and Fei Long. When Zhan Hu lost the first immunity challenge, they voted out Chicken, who had failed to connect with the group.

The castaways are thrown, choked, and wrestled as mud flies and tops are ripped off in one of the most physical and dirtiest challenges in Survivor history. When Leslie feels weak and vulnerable, she receives what she thinks is a gift from God. Jean-Robert concocts a plan to purposely act lazy in order to get ahead in the game.

Boring. That's what Survivor is, and if they really want to call it Survivor, ship all the contestants over to Iraq. That's surviving in a nutshell.
Gonna get killed by her mother just because her bosom slipped out. That's a strict parent, I'll tell ya that.

So, Ashley wound up being the second to go. Dave needs to turn things around if he wants to stay, especially with that tribe being in a rut.
The hidden immunity idol seems more interesting this time around, with only a select few knowing of its existence. That throws more of a wrench into things.
I thought for sure Ashley would be voted out because her tribe figured she didn't need the money, but it turned out to be Zhan Hu picked the other guy in a conflict she was having. I don't know who was right, but I am not feelin' Dave right now. I suspect that Ashley is right and he will not last very long.
Tha's really the only thought I have. This really was kind of a boring episode. At least Exlie Island isn't back (at least yet); I was really getting tired of it.

Maybe the tribe kidnapping another teams member will become this years Exile Island. I'm sad to see Ashley leave as she was good eye candy![]()
WWE Diva Ashley was voted out last week as Zhan Hu went to their second straight tribal council. The tribe basically picked Dave's side in his conflict with Ashley, how will that play out as they return to camp?

The kidnapped castaway bonds with the kidnappers over issues of faith, and the floodgates open as that castaway reveals their own tribe's dynamics. The women on one tribe have a hard time getting shut-eye as they avoid the snuggling and smothering of a cuddly castaway. As two guys joke in private that the only reason to keep a weak female tribemate is because one has a crush on her, that woman spies on their crude conversation. To stew or roast a crab? That is the question that prompts two alpha-males to duke it out.

Well, it was expected that Leslie wouldn't last that long. She was really annoying, and she put her faith forward too much. I just don't like it when people are so obsessive about it. Like her final remarks where she's just like 'God's ready for me to go'. Like anyone could win with that attitude.
Still, Jean Robert really rubs me the wrong way. I hope he doesn't make it much longer. Finally Xhan Hu won a couple of challenges, so this is an even game, now.
Not sure what was up with Dave stripping during the reward challenge, though.
Courtney threw the immunity challenge. I just can't figure out why. The look she gave at the start of it. The look after she finally cut the final rope. I swear she threw it.
