C'mon Marvel...regarding different studios & movies..(Spidey 3 spoilers)
Would it kill Marvel to put a stipulation when licensing their characters that allow cross-referencing? For example in Spidey 3. The big battle at the end with Sandman & Venom. It would have been cool if when the news reports are reporting their attack on the construction site. That to bad the Fantastic 4 were not in the city and it was up to Spidey. Another example is in Daredevil they couldn't even have Ben Urich work for the Bugle. Or even simpler. When they show shots from the offices of the Bugle. To have a newpaper headline on the wall mentioning the F4 or Daredevil.
I understand different characters are released by different studios. But, these suddle references won't infringe on other films. And might garner interest in their movie.

that'll only happen if and when Marvel is acquired by a single media conglomerate:
1. NBC/Universal
2. CBS/Paramount
3. ABC/Disney
4. FOX/Newscorp
then and only then will we see Marvelites co-habitating screentime on film and tv animation (circa 2007 onward)
in this current environment, imagine this scenario
Capt. America, Thor,Iron Man, and the Hulk are auctioned off to 4 different studios. This would mean that we'd never see an Avengers series on television under that arrangement. Remember the 90s Avengers show? The Horror!
to Marvel's credit however, they probably secure more revenue when they auction off their properties as oppossed to selling the entire lot to a single entity.
