Please Help Name A Movie

One of my coworkers is curious about the name of a movie. Here is a brief description:
Possible Romantic Comedy
Contains Prom
Dork Gets Girl in the End
Starred Now Famous Actors and Actresses
Possible Rating: PG-13
Based in early 90s or late 80s
Suburban Setting

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Of course, if your co-worker really can't remember anything more identifying about this flick, perhaps any title will do for an answer.

I would say Pretty in Pink...but then there's Can't Buy Me Love. Patrick Dempsey and Seth Green are pretty famous these days, right?

I'd name it "Bob." Yeah. "Bob the Movie." Has a nice ring to it.
