NBA Finalzzz: What's everyone thinking about now?

Sixers got game 1, but is seems LA has caused a shift in the direction of the series. Things are definately going their way. As of this writing there are 3 minutes left in the 1st half of game 4, and the Lakers are up by 17. Any thoughts.

Not a Laker fan here. Hate their smug attitude and I especially hate Shaq. Kobe still wants to be Jordan.

Iverson is playing BADLY. It's heartbreaking. I like cheering the underdog, but he is just gone. Game 1's Iverson is gone.

Mutombo wants it badly. He's the only one who's playing. Unless you enjoy watching teams dominate a league, this won't be a very good series--ratings seem to indicate that people don't want to watch Shaq and Kobe--last year's ratings were dismal. The NBA should build their league around Iverson or Carter--younger fans seem to relate to the smaller underdog more. Iverson is especially popular with youths because of his work ethic. But if Iverson's playing like this, he won't be able to hold that torch.

The NBA really needs to grab a younger generation. When Jordan and Rodman left, they took much of the older fans with them. Kobe is probably the best player in the league, but I fear the younger audiences relate to Iverson more. Iverson can't carry the league if he isn't playing well. Carter is interesting, but he's very green now and has plenty of time to develop. Out of the three, Iverson has the most charisma, and he'd still raise eyebrows if he was an absolutely horrible player. He's a very interesting personality. Iverson should consider polishing up his shot percentage in the summer. He rode a huge wave this year, and brought a lot of new fans into the game. it would be in his best interest to improve greatly--I think Iverson is the kind of b-ball player that should lead the new generation.

Yeah it should be a real riot LOL.

Anyway, maybe the Sixers can hold them off for a bit.

Iverson worked hard, but he expended a lot of energy this season. He's like Julius Erving. He'll probably get better next year, but he needs his Moses Malone to get to the championship.

I'm very interested in this Kobe/Shaq thing. Even though Kobe says that there is no friction between the teammates, I do not believe this to be the case. As long as he is associated with Shaq he will be a shadow, a sidekick. Kobe LOVES the spotlight. No, let me correct that. Kobe LOOOOOOOOVVVES the spotlight. He looked somewhat funny last night standing next to the show-hogger that is Shaq.

One day Kobe and Shaq will be standing on opposite ends of the court and THAT will be a series to remember.
