Antonella, if last week they tell you that the song was too big, going with Celine Dion is *not* an improvement. I put her in the bottom two with Alaina right now. Also, talking back by trying to group you with Jennifer Hudson? Don't try to kid yourself.

As for Melinda, I didn't like the song (I'm not a fan of that type of music) but she sang it well.

Edit: Jordin was better than last week, but that was a butchered version of Christina's pop version of "Reflections." Too fast and she just didn't sing it well, imo.

Edit 2: Stephanie. Missed her last week (came in late) but wow. Beautiful with a beautiful voice. Didn't necessarily like the song (my theme for this week, actually) but I thought she sang it well.

Edit 3: Leslie... was that the same song AJ sang last night? O_o It's a MUSE song, right? I liked his version better.

Leslie's performance was horrible! Really really cringe-worthy. I thought Simon would be a lot more harsh. Paula was her usual drunken self, of course.

Final musings:

Haley - awesome again. I really don't know why Simon keeps thinking she's not that good. Has been amazing in both episodes.

Sabrina - good but not great. Meh from me.

I thought Jordin was better last week, whatever I like her. I like her, Melinda and Lakisha... Sabrina and Stephanie too but for some reason I always forget them. I know that I hope that Antonella goes home and also the first one who sang. I don't really like Gina so much, I don't know why I kind of want to but for some reason to me she always seems like she's yelling or something.

I really loved Melinda's performance this week. I was a little worried when I heard which song she'd be singing. It has the potential to be really boring and/or painful when sung by the wrong person. This was her night.

Lakisha was awesome. Last week's performance was awesomer.

Leslie. Like the deep voice. The scatting thing was a little weird. I don't think it worked there.

I thought Antonella would be out of her league with a Celine Dion song. (I mean, come on.) So, I wasn't surprised when that song owned her.

Haley's performance was kinda manic and the singing hurt me a little inside.

I think Gina can do better and all of the others weren't memorable enough to comment on.

The girls strike me as much better than the guys at this stage of the competition. Blake's kinda interesting, though.

I've actually missed most both girls performance. on guys though, i think sanjaya REALLY needs to go! he sings terribly and i his hair bothers me . besides him, i'll be kind of sad at whoever goes, they're all pretty good, no really bad ones this time (besides sanjaya). Dont know the girls so cant comment

Nick had a weak week last week that I expected him to go. His rendition of "Fever" was not good. Least he was slightly better today.

Alaina, not going to miss you. Least you could have *tried* to finish your song.

And kudos to Ryan (in regards to Kelly): "So, what have you been spending your money on?" Family show, indeed.

More like America don't care for horribly out-of-key singing. Antonella should've gone first, but ultimately it doesn't matter to me.

Sanjaya should also be out, but I think he's staying on simply because his song choice last week was SO horrible that people aren't sure he's actually bad yet. Right now, the general public is still blaming whatever cosmic forces aligned to make him pick that song.

Antonella should have been out for sure! Hm a lot of people hate Sanjaya here Oh well I like him! He IS good. I think he'll prove himself eventually... hehe hopfully next week because he might not get a chance after that! I was really sad about A.J though, I liked him.

Now, Angela Hacker winning Nashville star, that was cool. Both she and her brother are amazing talents. The amount of emotion she pours into those songs. Wow.

I did a little research on that country singer they had on the show, (because I remember hearing her song on the radio): her name is Kellie Pickler. She was on the show last season, and finished in...6th place. 6th Place?!? Apparently they'll give record contracts to anybody on this show, (I thought only 1st and 2nd place winners got the contracts and albums).

Her song was decent enough, but I'm going to be blunt here...did she have some...augmentation done to herself since she was on the show in Season 5?!?
