Finally, the season begins. The cliffhanger at the end of November's "I Do" was just a bit too much to wait three months...but now we see if Sawyer lives, if Ben lives, if Kate lives, and if we can learn something about the Others.

Can't wait to get started.

I saw this episode already ( Leak). Let me say that you won;t be disapointed it answers some questions but still makes you yearn for more

FINALLY!!! Few shows have caused me to hate a character or group of characters as much as I hate the Others. I hope that Pickett guy (he's the one who wanted to kill Sawyer right? It's been months, I don't tape these) gets it first. Wouldn't hurt to see either Juliet or Ben go either.

Yet somehow I imagine the show's inevitable revelations will end up making me feel guilty for having such bloodlust.

You know, out of all the mysteries the show keeps creating, all I want to know is why there's a four toed foot and a Hurley bird on the island.

What I want to know most is what this episode has to do with where I live (see title). Guess I'll find out.

The problem with writing for a location is that you better know a good deal about it, or the people that live there will be counting errors one by one and getting annoyed. I certainly hope they mention a place called "Mittelos Bioscience," it's our pride and joy.

Well that would make it a good Lost episode. I think it's expected by now for every episode to make you yearn for more but getting some questions answered is defintley a good thing.

Possible moment of the episode (at least so far): Sawyer and Kate beating the heck out of those two others. Specifically Sawyer taking Pickett's head and smashing it into the fish bisket release system and knocking him out. Also good to see they realized Kate shouldn't be a wimp unlike last ep.

I had heard something about Juliet's backstory but it's still pretty interesting stuff. Espically here ex-husband being in that medical lab. Wonder what's gonna happen next and how her talking to Ben's gonna change things.

Karl is going to backfire. I see the brainwashing kicking in and him going haywire and killing people..

Wow, what an episode...
Pickett finally got shot, something I thought was pretty predictable. Kate and Sawyer got away nice and quick. Danielle and Ben were an item, interesting news. It seems that Juliet didn't want to be there and I think Mr. Albert's full name is Jacob Albert, but I could be wrong.

Another name from the philosophical textbooks...Mr Edmound Burke. Through the sleugh of fun we learn more about what DHARMA probably was and why the others may have been there.

Fun.

Key word for today: (still) JACOB!

I didn't quite follow what was the problem with Juliette's sister not being able to get pregnant. Did they say what was wrong with her and I missed it?

Nice tie in to the title!

My brother thinks the recuriter (with too much eyeliner) was featured on the Hanso Foundation site, but it seems to be taken down with just a letter from Mr. Hanso himself (with a pic of the guy!) www.thehansofoundation.org

Seems as if travel from the Other's Island to the outside world is now prevented thanks to the Hatch exploding....hmmmmm.

Tom was gunna. Jack asked why they couldn't take Ben off the island for treatmentand Tom answered "well when the sky turned purple...." he was cut off by something, I don't remember what exactly. This is implying that the sky turning purple somehow prevents them from leaving too. Or at least communicating with the outside world (since Juliette is pretty sure she's off )

Wow, it'd take a lot of guts to fold a real tsunami into a fictional conspiracy. They'd get complaints, no doubt....

And speaking of guts.....I don't watch CSI mainly for this reason, I DIDN'T WANT TO SEE BEN'S GLOP!!! I had to turn away and only listen to dialogue until the surgery is over.

I can't believe it.....the island is gaining that brainwashed loser boy instead of his hot girlfriend? I know that's a superficial reason to prefer someone, but I'm only human.
