Wow! The Haitian guy spoke!!! I think its obvious that he's NOT going to wipe claire's memory cuz he probably feels sorry for her. As for the Eden/Sylar thing, how in the heck did Sylar break all that glass and get Eden that way? All I can say is that it sucks, i'm going to miss her .

The whole dream with Peter being the destructive force was quite interesting as well! *sighs* january is too long to wait for new eppys!

I find the fact that I, a West Coast resident, am the third person to post here just as eerie as Peter found his vision to be. Where are all you people? Did I accidentally freeze time? It's the last one for a while--everybody should be here!

Oh, and I can't wait for the "dinosaur episode."

Indeed, a West Coaster (me) had to make the topic. Either this show lost a lot of fans or people are just lazy

Sucks for Eden, though. At least she was smart enough to blow her brains out so Sylar couldn't learn her powers (though not smart enough to tackle him without the Haitian's help)

Speaking of the Haitian, I assume Eden convinced him to let her keep her memory? Or perhaps Eden and the Haitian were working together behind Mr. Bennet's back.

Yikes. Looks like everyone's favorite Murse is the Exploding Man. That, or Peter saw someone else explode through a first-person perspective. His prophetic dream power gets more confusing every time we see it.

So sad to see Eden go, but I'm glad she shot herself in the brain before Sylar could take her power. Of course it begs the question: was Sylar in possession of his powers the whole time he was in the cell (thus biding his time), only found the strength to break the power nullifiers after Bennett's most recent threat, or did Eden turn off the power nullifiers so she could tell him to shoot himself?

Hmm. It seems the Haitian can speak. Furthermore, it seems that Bennett and Eden didn't know about it. I wonder what his agenda is, and what he's planning to do with Claire? It's nigh-obvious he isn't going to wipe her memory.

Well, it looks like Niki turned herself in to the cops. She might be taking the fall for what she did to DL, too. I wonder how long it'll take before Jessica breaks out.

C'mon, let's see some more of Micah's power! I love technopathy, and I want to know the limits of his powers. Is it limited to electrical devices, or can he also control mechanical (like Mitch Hundred)?

Eden dies, not much hullabaloo. Peter the source of the to-come explosion in downtown NYC? Whoa...

They certainly threw a whole lot of red herrings at us throughout the episode, trying to bait us into picking the wrong 'death victim.' Nici/Jessica, DL, Sylar, Matt, even Micah at one small juncture. But it ends up being Eden. Speaking of which... her power is persuasion? Well, that would explain how she had gotten so close to Mohinder and, before that, his father, without breaking a sweat. And to Claire's father... who seems strangely immune to her powers why? Like it matters now, with her dead...

I loved it when Peter tried to adapt to Matt's powers. That was a recipe for disaster, sending out waves that at first cancelled each other out (destructive), then overlapping each other as they were relayed, giving them both headaches (constructive). Well, safe to say it's going to be hard for Matt to discern at least one person's thoughts...

Speaking of Matt, he and his FBI partner (still can't remember her name) are getting awful close...

I should've seen the bit with Claire and her father coming... he asks who else knows the secret, then he goes and have his son and Claire's friend mind-wiped... and then prepares to do the same to his own daughter! What is with him? Just because he cleans out her memory doesn't mean there won't be more people like Sylar that'll come after her!

Issac finally meets Hiro, too... but seriously, what's going to come out of that painting of Hiro fighting a dinosaur? Really now, WTF?

Now comes the mystery... if Peter's prothetic vision is true, how and why does he explode, and how can he (and the others) stop him? My guess? Peter meets Ted (the guy whose body becomes radioactive upon getting angry) and finds himself unable to control his emotions.

    "Fallout": 8/10.

it takes forever for this talkback to come up.

Anyways. My prediction is that Peter absorbed some of the fallout from when Ted was there. That is why he was currently getting ill.

I don't know if he will will meet Ted later on though and accidently absorb his power.

Did eve bring something in with her other than the gun?

I don't really know. This show keeps throwing me for a loop.
I miss the good ol' days. Toon zone used to be really fun.

You know, that confuses me. Why now? Bennett knew that Zach knew for a while. He stole Zach's tapes. He knew Claire had confided the secret in Zach from the very beginning. So... why choose now to wipe his memory?

Issac finally meets Hiro, too... but seriously, what's going to come out of that painting of Hiro fighting a dinosaur? Really now, WTF?
Isaac paints the future. It looks like Hiro is going to end up in the distant past, chased by either a very small t-rex, or a very large raptor. Oh, and he's going to own a sword.

    I saw Claire's pappa mind-wiping everyone coming.

The scene with Matt and Peter was cool.

I've been predicting since the first episode they stared in that Matt and his FBI lady friend will hook up eventually, looks like my predictions may come true.

I didn't see the scene with Sylar/Eden coming...wonder who actually died?

The Nikki/Jessica stuff STILL bored me to death.

Issac and Hiro meet at last!

I think Peter's dream was cool...but don't think it was really about him even though it was all from his point of view.

I think the exploding man may wind up being Sylar...he seems to have become more and more unstable since his origin story, wonder what would happen if he took too much power? He explodes!

Well according to an interview Adrian Pasdar gave to E!News the character that die was kill because the actor had ask for a money raise. I don't know if he was joking or telling the truth. As for Peter exploding maybe is a power overload. He could have absorbed too much power from the others Heroes and released all the energy in a blast. Man, I can't wait to see the episode where Hiro takes on the dinosaur.

    Edit: Oops I almost forgot

The only part of "Fallout" I didn't understand was why Bennet would want to mindwipe his daughter, Claire.

If she doesn't remember anything, how can she protect herself? Sylar could walk right up to her and Claire would be like "Hi, nice to meet you."

Also, would Claire remember that she has powers? Even with a mindwipe, the next time she hurts herself she's just going to relive it all over again.

I hope Claire's friend is not out of the show.

One of the things that I feel "grounds" Heroes in reality is the non-powered characters (Claire's friend, Hiro's friend). If all those characters eventually leave and we're left with NOTHING but the superheroes, I'm gonna be disappointed.

even if peter is the cause of the bomb NOW, he couldnt have been the cause of the bomb originally (when hiro saw it)... could he? it seems that the timeline has been altered, so who knows.

Of course the timeline is altered. Claire lives. They all live in a world where Charlene Andrews knew Hiro before she was taken out by Gabrielle.

Ok something I picked up on. Mr Bennet (Who I was starting to like) said to Sylar that all the heroes he'd met had only 1 power and sylar was unique in that he had more then one. We know that the Haitians power is mind wipe. So since Bennet said everyone else he'd met had only one power who has the power to nullify others powers?

must be HRG, but now i am usure why eden's power of suggestion allowed them to capture Sylar in the first place.

Haitian Guy's powers isn't just mind wipe. He's basically a Prof Xavior type. Since the powers come from the brain, he can use his power to sort of nullify theirs. Every time someone tried to use their powers on Mr. Bennet and failed, Haitian guy was there. Heck, they make it a practice to show Haitian guy whenever they do fail.

Unless it's a red herring, I'm gonna go with the Haitian. His mind wipe is more a convenient application of a larger power set, limited telepathy. It appears he can mess with people's brain chemistries and synapses to make them forget or shut down the part of their brain responsible for their powers. I've heard that the Dark Phoenix has done something similar in the comics, so I don't think it's that much of a stretch. Then again, maybe its Bennett...

Also, Peter's health and visions are freaky. I wonder if the cause was his exposure to Sylar and his mish-mash of stolen abilities? In that case, the cause of the explosion could be Peter overloading on powers. Or it could be that the radioactive dude is still related to that.

Great, more questions then answers from this episode and the newest episode won't be till next month, gah.

I mean Peter as the New York explosion person, geez, I wonder how they're going to explain that or even more further boggling, how will they explain Peter's current dilemna by the end of the episode? Weird spiritual hero questo that brings him back? Hiro and the dinosaur? Just-just...wow. Ahaha, I hope he gets his sword soon.

Eden dead? Good riddance, I never cared much for her, and Isaac being able to paint without drugs = good news for him indeed. Gah, I hate being left hanging.

I'm guessing that judging by how he made Eden get Suresh to take Claire's name off his list in "Six Months Ago", he's trying to protect her from his own organization (since Sylar didn't exist at the time, so he couldn't have been protecting him from her). He seems to be picking up supers and observing them and I think he's trying to hide the fact his daughter is one so he won't have to experiment/do whatever he does on her and so his organization won't find out. Notice how he said there's "people out there who want what you want" and the government (if Mr. Bennett does work for them and not some rogue-organization) might want her regenerating powers to create super-soldiers for war, or something similar.
