When travelling at a subsonic speed during the last one hour of hypersleep, which vector of the Romulan Nebula will suffer the wrath of the impenetrable quickening? And for extra points, how many wraths to the nearest moulton? Be specific, this is a real question." - Ned Hastings

I'm guessing from the context that it's a messed up version of the Star-spangled Banner. It SHOULD be safe...
It wasn't THAT bad.
I still think the 4Kids version holds the worst version of the Star-Spangled Banner.
What do you get when you put three friends in a recording booth once a week, screen old anime, and tell them to make sense of it? You get the Anime of Yesteryear Podcast! Tune in each week as we kick back and discuss anime of old, both the well-known and the obscure, as well as our thoughts on the latest developments in the world of comics. (Updates Weekly!)
Yeah, uh, explain to me why this is bad?
That was supposed to be worse than the 4Kids version? That was actually fairly good. It wasn't professional by any means, but they obviously put some effort into it and it sounded quite clean.
There are far worse renditions out there.
Whatever you do, don't read this signature.

Dude, the TDS correspondents singing the national anthem was one of the highlights of the Indecision 2004 DVD set.
Meh. It was late and it's called marketing. If I said "Hey, you've heard worse and this is ok but watch it anyway..." it wouldn't have as much of an effect.
