Following are the top 10 movies at the North American box office for the June 8-10 weekend, according to studio estimates collected Sunday by Reuters. Final data will be issued Monday.
1 (+) Swordfish ............................ $18.4 million ($18.4 million)
2 (2) Shrek ................................ $17.1 million ($176.6 million)
3 (1) Pearl Harbor ......................... $14.9 million ($144.1 million)
4 (+) Evolution ............................ $13.2 million ($13.2 million)
5 (3) The Animal ........................... $ 9.8 million ($35.8 million)
6 (4) Moulin Rouge ......................... $ 7.6 million ($27. 5 million)
7 (5) What's the Worst That Could Happen?... $ 5.4 million ($22 million)

9 (7) A Knight's Tale ...................... $ 1.7 million ($57.2 million)
10 (8) Bridget Jones's Diary ................ $ 1.2 million ($67.4 million)
Well, I'm a bit dissapointed that Evolution underperformed, and suprised Swordfish did so well. And, as expected, Pearl Harbpr begins it's quick descent out of the top 10. Comments?

Travolta has had some good movies. But don't worry, this movie will dive fast and likely gross only around $60 mill. Unless somehow it has saying power.

Of course the movie has staying power...it has good actors. Sure it has Travolta but I'm going to go see it cuz of Jackman (Wolvie)...He is such a cutie!!!Travolta has had some good movies. NEways, all my friends have seen it and they gave it a thumbs up...even the guys enjoyed the movie...so I guess it will stay for a couple of weeks at the top... but I think not more than two.

Seems as if I'm the only one who saw this film?
It was okay, I expected a little more umph. It really does raise some interesting points on terrorism. I have mixed feelings on Travolta, Hugh Jackman was great, Halle Berry does nothing but some lame topless scene pretty much.
There was some lady who sat behind me and the movie was a little too over her head, she kept asking her husband things like "Whats a DEA agent?"
"Treason doth never prosper, what's the reason? For if it prosper, none dare call it treason."
Sir John Harrington (1561-1612)
Saw the movie today. I must say Hugh Jackman was great in the movie and Travolta too...he is actually convincing in his role. As for Halle Berry...well...she was sort of ok...so so.

I hope to see it this week, actually. I can't resist a brainless flick like SWORDFISH. And Halle Berry...mmm...
Anyways, it should be worth my $6.50
