...I've got nothing.
I don't see how Micheal's gonna force the warden's hand with a knife. I mean, the warden's like twice the size of Micheal. He could easily take Micheal out no problem.
By last weeks previews, I was expecting them to be escaping by now. It was misleading. I guess we will have to wait till next week. So there are 2 more episodes left, right?
Great episode, one of the best Ive seen. As for Scofield holding up Pope with a knife, its not to hard of a stretch, I mean hes gotta be almost 70( i don't know how old Stacy Keach is ) and hes not going to be stupid enough to fight a guy with a knife, whos over half his age. I kind of feel bad for Pope I mean he liked Scofield and Link, and I could tell Scofield liked the guy too and that he thinks it sucks that he had to do this. Good cover by Sucre when it came to the clothes, T bag is awesome always, and it was good to see C note kick some tail. 5 stars.
So the hand is being forced... the plan's a go! Westmoreland attacking Bellick, Nick turning a gun on Veronica, Sara approached by Michael to help with the plan and later reconsidering her options, and the Vice President losing her boss' endorsement (her boss, naturally, being the President). And it all ends with Mike purposefully sabotaging the Taj Mahal model he built to get back into Warden Pope's office and confront him to force him to release Lincoln.
A 7.5 out of 10 for "Tonight." A slight stepdown from last week, but just pre-anticipation for what should be a hectic final two episodes.
*Extra* Odds on who makes it out of Fox River *Extra*
Abruzzi mentions that the plane he's rented for the escape only has three seats. At this point in time, there are nine people in the party.
First off, I'm guessing, for reasons stated later below, I think as many as five of the nine get out. Not three, five... the caveat to Abruzzi's plan. How things are going to be handled if five make it to the plane... I haven't figured that out yet.
Second, the actual predictions:
Solid: Michael. Right now, I see Mike as the only sure bet, but I'm trying to come up with some better reason to say so other than 'he's the lead character.' I'm leaning towards acknowldging his smarts.
Safe Bets: Tweener and Abruzzi. For some odd reason, despite Tweener's misgivings and his irkability factor, I think he gets out. Maybe he figures if he's being screwed over by not being part of the plan (by Bellick), he might as well be part of it. As for Abruzzi, still drawing back to the fact that the plane will not take the group unless John's with them and alive, he's gotta get a pass. That is, unless...
Toss-Up: T-Bag and Lincoln. A good bet is that both Abruzzi and T-Bag won't make it out, and a decent chance one will kill the other (if they don't kill each other). Who the rest of the escapees side with will be the one that lives. Linc's also a toss-up because he's not willing to leave anymore for many reasons... but at the same time, those very reasons might spurn him enough to get out. If Mike convinces Warden Pope to unchain him, that is.
Not Looking Good: C-Note, Sucre, and Manche. C-Note turning on his 'in-house posse' is not a good thing, and their involvement will be instrumental in whether C-Note gets out or not. For some reason, I don't see Sucre getting out... having already 'been caught' once, I don't think has the nerves. And I don't see Manche getting out if Sucre does, because he's the odd one out of the group.
Don't Even Try: Westmoreland. Dispatching Bellick was the worst possible thing to do. He screwed up the timetable, he injured himself, and if Bellick gets out to warn the other guards, he'll have the most to lose if he's caught. He says he's alright for the escape, but I think the injury will not only cause Westmoreland to not make it out of Fox River... I don't think he'll survive the escape attempt, either.
Most Likely Bets to Make it Out of Fox River: Michael, Tweener, Lincoln, C-Note, and either T-Bag or Abruzzi (not both).

Great episode.
And I'll be thoroughly shocked if C-Note/Westmoreland get out and live. Looks like their days are coming to a close.
5/5
The first half of this series, I was mesmerized by the brilliant and elaborate concepts Michael was using to further his escape attempt...fast forward to "Tonite" and it comes down to him holding a shiv to the warden to strong-arm him into letting his brother out.
I was a bit disappointed by that.
Who are you going to believe, me or your own eyes?

I’m a week behind, but my comments were over half done so I don’t want to let it go to waste. I hope to watch this week’s episode by Wednesday, but with the residence halls closing I may not find time until the weekend.
Great to see Westmoreland finally gets a measure of revenge for Marilyn the cat by taking out Bellick after he found the hole. That was a pretty intense fight and it looks like Charles is the worse for wear.
And Tweener tries to betray them again! I just can’t believe Michael is that sloppy to trust someone like him, but there doesn’t seem to be any plan in place when it comes to the kid.
After all the suspicion that surrounded Nick Savrinn when we first met him, the writers have managed to build both our and Veronica’s trust in him over the course of the season. I’m interested to find out exactly what he’s into here.
We meet the President, Richard ‘Somethingorother’ (And you know me, I had to IMDb’im and the most notable role for Daniel J. Travanti appears to be Capt. Frank Furillo from Hills Street Blues). He and Vice President Reynolds appear to have the “I had you on the ticket to get elected, but I don’t really like you that much” relationship. I hope we see more of him and find out his last name. I found it rather surprising that she calls him by his first name. The other White House shows have taught me this is disrespectful.
Dr. Sara’s talk with her father did not go so well. Gov. Frank Tancredi has a price for his morals. More and more I get the feeling that Mrs. Tancredi isn’t around any more.
“…And it’s killing to know that you’ll never believe that.” Michael and Sara really had a moment when he told her what he was going to do and that he needed her help. She is so torn right now.
I liked seeing the plan come together with the cons bleaching their jumpsuits and covering their beds in various things that smell bad (including Abruzzi doing the Lord’s work). It was cool towards the end as we saw all of them waiting and thinking about what life had in store for them.
I couldn’t figure out why Michael seemed to have a piece of the Taj. Never occurred to me that he was going to use it to threaten Henry Pope! The old man must be in shock!
