At the very least, Jack Colvin will be fondly remembered for his work in "The Incredible Hulk". Even though he played the "evil tabloid reporter", Colvin played a very sympathetic villain. In spotlight episodes featuring Jack McGee, we discovered McGee to be a principled and compassionate character. After the "creature" saved him in the plane crash, his pursuit of the Hulk took on a different spin in which McGee wanted to save the creature.
I think in the hands of a lesser actor, we would have gotten a more campy, mustache-twirling kind of villain. Colvin gave McGee compassion and pathos.
