Psychological Thrillers: Do you figure them out?

    Like This Thread!
I just finished watching the movie "The I Inside" (a psychological thriller from the same people who brought you Identity) and really got to thinking about the Psychological Thriller form of movie...

Throughout the movie, I kept trying to figure out what the huge twist was... I came up with several possible (and plausible) twists, but alas fell short (a near miss, I'd rather say, cause I got part of it right...)

I think I've started analyzing the movies more and more. I remember when I saw the Sixth Sense for the first time, I didn't really try to hard to figure out the super-twist in that movie... but as time goes by and the more I saw these Psychological Thrillers, it almost does add something to the movie when you can try to figure it out. There's just something about trying to predict what the director is going to do to make everything fit into place in the end...

Anyhow, with more and more Psychological thrillers coming out, do you find yourself actively trying to figure out the ultimate outcome of the moive or do you just peacefully sit and take it all in until the moment near the end of the movie when the twist is revealed?

    Don't you people understand!?!

One I figured out.--- BEWARE SPOILERS HERE!!!!!

"The Sixth Sence", which you referred to, at the crucial point in the film, in the beginning, when I believe there is a fight, and Willis falls, and there is a disolve, and all you see is him walking in an open area, totally different scene, without any explaination or follow up on that falll.....At that point, I thought to myself, this could be a dream, or he could be dead, and this is some kind of surilistic observation...It is not a movie I would normally watch..but, some good friends of mine wanted me to see it.. ................Unfortunately, that is the only one, and having read and seen a lot of Sci Fi, made it (Star Trek, did dream scenes a lot) possible..I got lucky, normally I do not figure them out, ..(and I think "THE SIXTH SENCE" is the second highest grossing film of all time) but on that one, I got it. “The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it...Returning violence for violence multiples violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. ” –Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
