Sounds like Pearl Harbor and Shrek will be kicking oodles of boodle this weekend.
Evolution
Swordfish
Well, this weekend is only showing two major movies opening up... one that looks like it's desparately trying to keep the trend of Gross-Out comedies alive and another that looks like it's desparately trying to keep John Travolta's career alive... What do ya'll think for this weekend... I don't see either of these movies ranking very high on the top ten... however, which do you think will do better... Evolution or Swordfish?

Free the Water Tower 3!
Ack. I didn't have high hopes for either of them, but Swordfish sounds a great deal lamer than I thought. And I'm still mystified as to what possible excuse they could have for hauling a bus around from a helicopter, as the ads feature prominently. ("If we don't keep it above 50 feet, it'll explode!")

You read it... you can't un-read it!
Since when is EVOLUTION a gross-out movie? It's a Ghostbusers-esque sci-fi comedy by Ivan Reitman(Ghostbusters).

My favorite part of the promo of "Evolution.
Doctor: Maybe we should cut his leg.
Orlando: DON'T TAKE THE LEG!!!!
Doctor#2: Maybe we should go for the crouch.
Orlando: TAKE IT! TAKE THE LEG!!!!!

Well, for an actual decision on which film will do better, it will probably be Evolution, since it bears a bit of a resemblance to Men in Black film, a sci-fi comedy with plently of CGI aliens, plus it's made by the same guy who directed the Ghostbusters films. Swordfish should likely serve as another death blow to the falling star that is John Travolta, he can no longer be counted on to bring fans in after last years disasters. Although word is that they paid co-star Halle Berry extra money to take her top off in one scene, so that should bring them a little more b/o money. But as I said before, Pearl Harbor and Shrek will kill them both. Next week however, should be a lot more interesting.

Still recovering from the roller coster ride that was Game 1 of the NBA Finals...
I'm more into techno/action than comedy so I'd rather watch Swordfish.
Halle Berry didn't receive extra cash to to the nude scene. It was actualy a joke about being paid extra that got out of hand.
