If anyone had any doubts, Jack will be getting a Battlizer on top of his SWAT Mode (Well, technically not "on top", it appears that the SWAT mode is cancelled with an upgrade to Battlizer), made from... RIC. So, he's now a movie playing, motorcycle-transformin', gunblade.
Note that the pic also has Kat in a new jumpsuit... and the return of the A-Squad!
If Funaroverse' guy who knows a guy is to be believed... they'll be working for Grumm... and are apparently incredibly tough.

Glad to see The A-Squad are being used as villains, either for the remainder of the season or just to introduce the S.W.A.T gear, they mark the first original use of purly N.Z evil Rangers since the U.S attempted it with the Dark Rangers...and they look a lot prettiter...

Gotta love the Space Rangers helmets: They're awkward on those suits, yet so much fan service and badass all at the same timeHard to see in that picture if the suits are all the black (are they same from the early episodes?). Some individual color trim on the suits would make the helmets match. Unless they're so badass, and so confident in their coloruality and badassuality that they don't need no stinkin' suits of apropriate color. Did I mention that even if they need touching up they're still badass?
(Hmmm, a team of US-only rangers using parts from older suits (in a badass way). Kinda reminds me of those Ancient Rangers that were going to be in LG but were scrapped-AH-HA! I've STILL got some of my previously limited and mediocre PR trivia knowledge! I haven't lost all my badass mediocreness! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.......)

Meh, Battlizer seems to be the final, decided name for the armor upgrade, given all the "Legacy of the Battlizer" marathons and junk we've seen. Expect the DinoThunder crossover to come right after "Battlized" (or whatever the Battlizer episode[s] are).No, I'm not shocked that Jack gets a Battilizer (I do wish they'd call them different names like in the old days though).
Gah... imagine that fight scene. It'd be more extravagant than "Thunder Storm"... especially if it had the DT and SPD rangers teaming to fight the A-Squad...

I'm not totally digging the SPD Battlizer, but in action/CG, it might look decent. Ten to one odds the sirens on his shoulders go off.

I would love to see at least one series give every Ranger an upgrade of some sort, as you suggested, Duke.... espcially with a technological-themed series like SPD.

I personally didn't say "upgrade." I specifically said "Battilizer."
