    Ron (Faarooq) Simmons Released

    Like This Thread!
    from liveaudiowrestling.com/wo:

"Ron "Faarooq" Simmons was fired today by WWE, just hours before a television angle done on Tuesday, where he was also fired, was scheduled to air."

That angle was a Smackdown Spoiler, i guess.

Guess that means another stupid singles push for Bradshaw, now.

    He's still there?

I thought that he was fired/released years ago.

I got bored once a few months ago and turned WWE on and Bradshaw was on there but it was different from the one that I remember back in 1998...maybe it was me?

The last time I checked, I think he's the same Bradshaw (only this time instead of having long hair and a beard, he's got short hair and a clean shave).

I find it kind of sad that WWE did this. Ron Simmons actually retired a while back when they had him teaming with Reverend D-Von and then he came back to reunite the APA. To then release the first African American Heavyweight Champion just doesn't seem right. He deserves better than apparently being fired on TV.

Bradshaw will be fine. I hated that he was dressing as a cowboy, but he did well for himself as a mid-card face on RAW before his injury.

Most of WWE's tag teams are cut and paste already. To take an already established tag team and break it apart is silly. Bradshaw might retain his job, but he's not going anywhere special.

Faarooq was one of my favorite wrestlers. To be quite honest, I would have totally marked out if they brought back the NOD.

    You mean the hair?

If that's it, it's because Bradshaw dyed his hair blond.

I wonder Simmons was fired, I thought he was awesome.

Weird. He retired, apparently did some behind the scenes stuff...and then came back to reunite with Bradshaw for a storyline. And they fired him, like that? Pretty weak move by Vince. But wrestling is an ugly business.

Its not a big loss Simmons deserved better, but he isn't as good in the ring as he used to be same goes for Bradshaw. I just hope Bradshaw doesnt go back to that stupid cowboy gimmick.

Well Faarooq hasn't been a good character/wrestler in years, and Bradshaw is no better.
The WWE should forget about Bradshaw, nobody likes him
