    "Carol Burnett and Friends"

Does anyone remember and is familiar with the 151 half hour episode syndicated package "Carol Burnett and Friends" which are 1/2 hour edited versions of 1970-1976 episodes of "The Carol Burnett Show" but the music number segments were not featured? The syndicated "Carol Burnett and Friends" package first aired on syndicated local stations in Fall 1977 and later aired on cable channels WTBS, Family Channel, USA Network and now TV Land.

Yes. I love these episodes! I watched a lot of the marathon that they had on TV Land this weekend. They were playing on USA for a while but disappeared so I'm glad to see Carol show up on TV Land. Some of the sketches on that show are just brilliant. I mean, everyone's heard of the famous Scarlet O'Hara spoof she did with the curtain rod dress..."I saw it in the window and just couldn't resist" Some more of my favorites are when Tim Conway does the Old Man routine, Carol as Stella Toddler, The Family Sketches with Eunice, Ed, and Mama, the Mrs. Wiggins and Mr. Tudball skits, and the ones where Harvey and Carol are stage actors. I forget their names...I'm wanting to say Fontaine or something like that. Anway, yeah this is a great show! I'm so happy it's on TV Land now.

This is my second time seeing this show (the first was back when TV Land aired it once during some marathon.)

The second time being this marathon on TV Land.

I love this show! It's hilarious!

I love the Mama's Family sketches, the Late Night Movie sketches were funny too.

I also like it when she talks with the audience, last night on one episode an old woman, "Miss Miller", asked her if she could move up because she can't see, and a woman in a red hat (Roxanne) said she'd switch with her, I thought that was good.

Glad to see it on TV Land and hope it sticks around for a lnog time! (I love it! )
