Okay, this time it will work....

Okay, see my previous post to learn about the idea behing my original characters "Bill and Buster", but here's the picture:

The characters included are, left to right:

    Hairball, the evil cat

Hairball is a grotesque, mysterious black cat with a twisted mind and even more twisted appearance. Hairball is the self-appointed leader of the "alley cat mafia", and his 2 main goals are global conquest and doing away with Buster Kat. Hairball has glowing yellow eyes, (they glow because he survived a lightning strike once) and he is capable of interdimensional travel, so if he can't take over our world, he can try for that of a parallel universe. Thankfully, Buster is always there to put a stop to him, and Bill has had the occasional confrontation with the cat as well.

    Bill Dawg

Bill Dawg is Buster Kat's costar, supervisor, and best friend. He is a no-nonsense dog, and while he is sometimes a little reluctant, he almost always helps Buster with his problems, and is a perfect straight man for Buster's wackiness. Bill views his job as taking care of the cat and dog's (unseen) human owners, and supervising Buster in his job (catching rodents). Bill is almost always on the recieving end of slapstick and pratfalls, particularly in stories I like to call "drawing board episodes", where the two costars analyze or iintrocuce shorter mini-stories.

    Buster Kat

Buster is my personal favorite character. He is a whimsical, wacky cat, and Bill Dawg's costar and best friend. Bill may set the rules, but it is Buster who is the true leader. It is Buster who begins almost every story with some idea or problem. Buster is perhaps a little screwball, but he is not all laughs all the time, he is actually the bravest and most faithful of both of them. Buster is not afraid of most any challenge, and that trait serves him well against the likes of Hairball the evil cat and Sam the Coyote.

    Sam Coyote

Sam Coyote serves not so much as a villain but as an annoyance. Originally, he showed up on my pages as a neurotic coyote displaced from his home by urban development. This was not really kept, though, Sam is most commonly seen in the country or desert, wherever the story calls for him. (And, more in-character for him, when it doesn't.) Sam is a jealous and introverted character, he envies Bill and Buster and considers himself their equal, and in the drawing-board segments openly insults and complains about the dog and cat, and will do anything to steal their spotlight. He does have a good heart, but he is a self-preservationist, and it is usually his undoing.

    Mac Mouse

Mac Mouse (sometimes called Mac M. McMouse) is an all-purpose sort of character. He is a studio technician for Bill and Buster in link segments and does various things in the stories. Mac is a friendly and innocent character, but he only takes so much...he once infested Bill and Buster's home, the two tried everything from baseball to pipe rotorooters to catch him, and he ended up beating them both up with his bare hands. He has also been seen as a victim of The Great Gizmo, an alleycat who occasionally works for Hairball and spends the rest of his time either hunting or working as a pest control employee.

    -get it now?

Buster Kat looks very cool. He'll be my favorite pick.

E-mail me later about that file size issue. Cool?

I like Buster too, he's very well designed. Mac Mouse sort of looks Hubie and Bertie inspired, he's probably my second favorite.

Didn't you mention once before that your characters were redesigned over the years? Do have any "evolution of Bill and Buster" drawings? It's be fun to see how the characters progressed.
