    Now then

I have been practising drawing on character models, using TNBSA models as reference.

Please let me know what you think. They are, Batman, Robin and Superman.

    Cheers

I like them, they all look pretty good - though I have to ask, why do they look so squat? Maybe it's my computer playing around with me.

Looks good though, dude. I'm especially jealous of the Superman one because I am nowhere near being able to draw his face yet - for some reason, I just can't.

Wow Spidey these are good, their faces are all very well modelled and the bodies look good too. Supes is dead on! I really like this style. Great job!

I'm with Tim I'm having a hard time getting a feel for what they look like because they all look so squashed down and oddly proportioned. Robin looks about as big as Superman too. But speaking of Superman a very heroic pose worth of The Man of Steel. You did an excellent job on the "S" Shield. Tim may not be able to do Supes face, but I can't do his shield it just never comes out right. Robin and Superman's faces are dead on though.

i'm trying to keep in mind that there's an obvious touch of spidey's own style in this, which seems to me slightly outweighs the timm style. bearing that in mind, i think they look great. i dunno if you're trying to do dead on models of them, or drawing them in your own way. there's shades grey here, i just see more spidey here. honestly, i'd rather see the spidey slant to them than dead on recreations of the models, i'm more interested in seeing your style peak thru than the timm style. i'd make em a little more angular to push the style, but they look great spidey.

I think SOH pretty much said what I was thinking - I can see as much AS here as I can Timm - and in all honesty, I don't think that's a bad thing! Nice to see some of your work again!

Thanks for replying, sorry it took so long, us Brits are a busy bunch.

Tim - They look weird cause I had to squash them all to fit into the attachment, as my MSN group is well, crap. Why be jealous because you can't draw Superman? Some of us haven't mastered Batman yet

Rune - Thank you, my fellow Brit mod. We will soon reign supreme er,..

Detective - I thought Superman was off a bit, his head is huge. I'll see if I can get up them individully soon.

Screw on Head - I was looking for bang on Timm models. I've tried them in the past, but also thought that they where lacking something. Looking at them now, I've realised they are have something extra, Spidey-style. Which is really what it is, I've always been a Spidey man. No point trying to change that. I plan on posting some more Spidey soon.

SJJ - Cheers. I hope to post more soon

Thanks for your time boys and girls!
