Yeah...
Yeah, that's ANOTHER( why not?)Miss Keane pic.
I was chatting with a friend one of those days, and he went with an idea to me - so, why not to portray her in a summer series scenes?
Well, there's Summer( at least, it was, when I drew this one here in Brasil )time for her, then:
Well, I think that she deserves a vacation, too... ^^
Thanks for visiting!
I'm sorry, because my Corel Photopaint went absolutely nuts - hence, I needed to reinstall it - and I have only this one to post, by now! Grrr... well, back to the keyboard, and mouse! Hope you like it^^

Thanks!
Looks like she worked on her tan...
Oh well, she's such a beautiful character - and in so many ways, IMHO - that I just tried to get it thru another standpoint; I'm glad you liked the picture ^^

I like the image too! Where did your interest in her character come from?
Thank you!
Well, I always was a huge fan for some female characters in cartoons, but I barely found one that could match with Miss Keane:
She loves the girls( as she does about the other kids at Pokey Oaks, too ), she's an intellectual type one, she haves a strong character, she's dedicated to her work, those things and... she's a teacher, like I am one, too^^
Well, just to quote what comes to my mind, by now.
In fact, she was one( if not the first, at least, the second one )character as a teacher I ever knew that wasn't being portrayed like an annoying, authoritative or sarcastic person, unlikely a( good )teacher should be - remember that whooing - "wah-wah-wah-waahh?" - voice at "Peanuts" cartoons? I think that even that, only as a voice can figure that well enough - and, oh well, she's cute!

That image looks awesome, the ocean rendering or wave crashing upon here is just amazing.
Just fantastic![]()
That was good. How about Miss Bellum next? So what if we never see her face? I'm sure you'll think of something. Or maybe Sedusa?
I feel that a big problem with today's society is that we don't listen to our fellow man -- especially when I'm talking.
"Never be afraid to borrow from those wiser than yourself." - Mr. Jimmy (voice of David Arquette) on "Pelswick"
"What do I care what some yahoo like Lonestarr posts on the internet?" - President Skroob (voice of Mel Brooks) on "Spaceballs: the Series"

Thank you very much!

Well, I tried to make the waves( crashing, and the surf )thing as good as possible, but I didn't knew how could I do that accordingly to a "PPG style"( I mean, highly stylized ); that was my first try on that, but I'm glad you liked it, thanks!
Sure, why not?
Sedusa or Miss Bellum could be nice models to draw, too! I'll look after that, thanks for the suggestion!
See you, take care!

Another great one. What I like best about this picture is that is shows her a bit "out of character." We usually see her inside the classroom as a caring and slightly reserved authority figure, but here we see that, outside of that classroom, she's a happy, carefree woman. As with the other pictures, this is great because it creatively adds something to the charcter.
I also really love the colors in this. The water looks amazing; I really like those shades of green. The colors of her skin and bathing suit also look really good.
Thanks, Shnay!
Well, I like to explore something unusual, but humanlike - I just think that it adds depth to a character, but the true is, I love those characters, really like them so, I would like to know more about them, that it is.
Once I can respect the original creation, but adding something, IMHO, I think that it is OK.
Like that picture when Miss Keane was teaching Blossom how to write - it's common that people could think on Blossom as sooooo smart that could never need someone to teach her something so basic as to read/write - Hey, the girl studies conversational Chinese! ^^ - but I tried it anyway - besides I tought that it was cute, was, oh well... proper( at least for my own idealized vision of a teacher, especially a kid's one )... ^^
Or that picture when she was going to her first day at school( supposedly, just admitted to Pokey Oaks; I even added an envelope - bureaucracy, bureaucracy, bureaucracy, siiiigh 9.9 - on her hand, as those things that she just could unloaded from that funny car - BTW, I tought, one that a just graduated teacher could have - we don't own lots of money, you know; especially on the beginning ), see? Even that picture about her and Bubbles( "Look what I've done... " ), that I imagine as one of her first contacts with one of the girls - well, we know Bubbles... prolly she would welcame her new teacher( and, why, not, friend )that way.
Silly me, maybe.
Oh well.
This time, I tought( in fact, we, as it came from another idea a friend gave me )that, well, she could be portrayed just like you said, a happy, carefree woman( maybe, because I tought that she deserved it as the character she is - but, now, I'm really happy that you saw it as it was!
Thanks again!^^
