I'm not even sure if I'm doing the right thing. The instructions were pretty vague. My art teacher said it didn't sound like a real storyboard but just using the panels to tell a story with pictures (Can you tell your whole future in 12 pictures? :P)
I'm not sure if my anatomy is right, and the storyboard itself isn't in a very serious light.... I sure hope they have a sense of humor.
See how many things you can catch!(A hint: Check out who's on the animation team)

I can't see the pictures......
"So it's true my words are contrived
I tell lies just to get into your mind
I'm as fake as a widow's smile.
This mask of glass is what I choose to wear
So I won't ever have the need to bear
The total truth to anyone but me."

LOL! Bruce Timm..that's great..lol
I think they should accept that..that's always what I figured a storyboard was....I just read one in a batman book I have...I don't know think they're as detailed as that one is, but if the don't accept it, they should make their wants clearer..
ah..but that was great to read and fun to look at...

I thought that guy on the left looked like Bruce Timm. Good work, Nightflower.
I feel that a big problem with today's society is that we don't listen to our fellow man -- especially when I'm talking.

"Due Feb. 8"... hee hee hee.
I thought it was nice work, myself.

You read it... you can't un-read it!
Hey, Nightflower. Nice work on that sequence. Is the team member on the right Tab Murphy? Looks like him. At least it does right now- I just got through watching all the extras on the Atlants 2disc DVD yesterday, and if the likeness wasn't on purpose, it's a nicely-sized coincidence.
Who's the guy in the middle?
Again, nice work on that.

All right, time to point out stuff.
Nope, I don't know who Tab Murphy is, but that *is* a nice coincidence! I was trying more for a Simpsons comic book guy (Does he have a name?) look, but less arrogant.
The bald man on the animation team is supposed to be Jeff Katzenberg, of Prince of Egypt and Shrek fame.
The girl is inspired by my good friend and fellow artist, Joey Wong (SyberKat). You wouldn't have caught that.
Bruce Timm is on the left. Yay, bird_boy!
The "generic vigilante girl" is Cybersix, from the short-lived cartoon.
The comic strip on the bulletin board is Peanuts (hmmm..... you wouldn't have gotten that either, the scan is really bad. Maybe if you squint really hard...)
The objects from my first still life composition for my portfolio is on the table in the first panel of the fantasy sequence (Funnel, tin can, tennis ball, tea box). My composition can be seen in another thread on this board.
February 8 is when my portfolio is due. Yay, Mad Hatter!
The person who evaluates my portfolio probably won't catch any of this either, but it was fun, and made the assignment less tedious :P
Thanks for all the comments everyone!

Nightflower,
Thanks for the reply and clarification.... Just so you know, Tab Murphy was the writer for Atlantis, and co-wrote Tarzan.
Ah, the middle guy's Katzenberg... I think it might work to make the glasses a little bigger, as the Katzenberg pics I've seen show him with somewhat oversized (& more squared-off) glasses. Just my opinion though.
All those little hidden things can be great fun when you're working on something like that....

Nope. I tried to sign up for some, but the course got canceled. Not that it mattered- it was only once a week till April, and didn't start until late January (Which would have been too late to help me for my portfolio). I would love to though- I hear they're very helpful.
Of course, all my cretin friends are like "Naked people?! *snortgiggle*"
