Christmas already?!?!?!

So, it's still a little bit down the road.... But I figured the more notice, the more time everyone might have to prepare.

Every year we try to decorate for the Holidays. A few wreaths, some lights, snowflake backgrounds, batman in a santa hat...

You know, the little things that help promote a little holiday cheer.

For the past couple of years I've also tried to draw something cool and funny for the main page like the drawing below...

Now, what I wanted to see if how many other folks might be interested in participating in this. What I'd like to do is get together a few finished drawings together and make a short page to spread a little good will and wish everyone out there a Happy Holiday. If anyone would like to submit a tasteful, holiday themed drawing, I'd love to put it on that page.

Here's what I'm working on for this year....



I'm halfway through the coloring now. I drew this for someone for Christmas a year or so back and never had the chance to make a finished, colored copy of it.

If you are interested, just post them here and as it draws closer to the holidays, I'll compile them and put them on a hard coded html page with pretty lights and everything.

I think this one turned out very cool. It's Bugs Bunny as Santa. I did this in pen and ink, scanned it into computer, and colorized it and added background. Cool, isn't it?

I started an image over the weekend, but then didn't have much time to finish it so I rushed through it. It's pretty much all hand done other than the colors on Porky and Daffy (I'm all thumbs when it comes to drawing *anything* on the computer.) I might redo some of it over the weekend, Porky doesn't quite look right and I'm not too fond of the background (reminds me of bad compilation movies and my scanner is finicky so the colors turned out strange).

Here's what it looks like presently, sorry if it's too late:

Wow! I mean, sure. You certainly may.

BTW, the Christmas page looks great. If the art doesn't mesmerize ya (and how can it not?) those neato little lights will.

Great pictures, Jack & Matthew!!

I am also working on a Christmas Looney Tunes drawing... it's taking a bit longer than I expected, due to the number of characters I put in it (the current count is 19). I think it is coming along nicely. I should have it done by Sunday.
