Kidnap the Sandy Claws & a character study
Well, I finally finished CGing a drawing of mine I've been working off and on for about the last two months.

Features three of the characters from my web comic Mode Ryuu, dressed up in my own renditions of Lock, Shock, and Barrel from Nightmare Before Christmas. I had a lot of fun with this one ^_^ The background is... well, I dunno what it is, 'cause at that point, I just wanted to finish the picture, so I just went and got a whole bunch of brushes (links to where I got the brushes can be found here), and messed with layer modes.
And, because I'm really happy with how this came out, here's a character study for an Angelic Layer doujinshi I'm doing with a friend.

Fun stuff. I'm very happy with how the hair came out

Yay, I've been waiting to see the colored version of this one, I recall the original from way back and this is just fantastic. What I really love is the 'splatter' paint effect in the background, it really makes the characters jump out at you. Great work and the costumes are just soooo cool!
The character study is great too, I love the way you get the hair like that, it looks so tactile and full of movement. What else can I say except 'tis gorgeous!
