    "Liquidated"

Hey guys, I've decided to post another one of my Batman/Darkwing Duck crossover pics. That's about all I've got to say here. Enjoy!

Aha so you've seen sense *pokes*

'Liquidated' - oooh, I sense bad things in store for Clayface here! That blue water effect is a great contrast with the shadowy rest of the pic and the figure rising from the water looks like he means business. What happens next then, heheh.

Okay 'Waterloo' - wow, the colours on Clayface are fantastic, I love the vibrancy you've got there along with the shadows but oh, his face just makes me feel so sorry for him, those eyes, that mouth, that expression is just too poignant. Great job of capturing the moment there .

'Liquidated' - My favourite. The angle is very active and the water is very vivid and feels liquidesque even though it's not coloured realistically, so to speak. The light sourcing works well, with the light coming behind the water and the perspective with Clayface works. Nice idea to boot.

'Waterloo' - Reminds me of Mudslide's ending. Not quite as good as the first pic. The sea can get a little confused with sky thanks to the lightning, but nevertheless, a cool idea. The colours on Clayface, are strong, but I don't think the colours are quite as effective as on 'Liquidated'. Again, nice idea! As always....

Thanks guys! I initially didn't mean to post the "Clayface's Waterloo" pic, I was only going to post "Liquidated", but accidentally uploaded both. I figured I might as well, as they're sorta similar.

Anyway SJJ, the Waterloo pic was definitely based on MUDSLIDE, one of my favourite endings to a BTAS episode to date. I know the angles are kinda funky and all that - I did this one a couple of years ago. I was still a mere grasshoppah back then.

Oh Rune, that "figure rising from the water" is a Darkwing Duck villain (and much underused, I feel) called "The Liquidator", whom is basically a shapeshifter (like Clayface) but also has the unique ability to control all liquids and fluids. This is actually a bit of a rip-off from the finale of his origin episode - I just put ol' Clayface in there for good fun.

And Elbarto, brevity is the soul of wit. Thanks!

    Great stuff as usual Timmy!

I squealed seeing the Liquidator. I loved him as a kid. Especially his voice. I like how Clayface seems so "little" compared to the awesome force of water. The tunnel also gives a nice feel that Clayface won't come out of it in a good way.

Waterloo has fantastic colouring on Clayface. Is that a lightning bolt? It almost looks like a yellow tree branch. Don't worry, it's clear what it is though. The upper left seems a bit empty. [That would be the evil voice my professors put in me] But I think it's great in showing there is nothing much but water down there.

Poor Clayface. How does he get into and out of these situations? :anime:

*goes to find out if Disney channel even shows Darkwing Duck*

Wasn't there anything about 'flushing' when Sandman and Hydroman clashed in the Spidey comic? They merged into a mud creature - wonder if Clayface and Liquidator could do the same trick.

Liquidated was bloody hillarious! I hope to see more crossover pics quite soon. A teamup between Poison Ivy and Bushroot would be neat, or Zatanna and Morganna. Just suggestions.

    Coupla thoughts

"Liquidated": Very impressive! I...don't have anything too specific to say other than I like the technique very much and the colors used fit very well.

"Waterloo": A fun one that reminds me of such a great episode! The only thing I'd do to improve it is have Clayface shifted up and to the right, so that we're looking down on him more. I see exactly what you were going for, though, which is good.
