There is a cartoon out there called Tarzan the Anmated Series? I haven't even heard of it. I must have missed something.
This is very similar to the suggestion put forward by the Quirmian philosopher Ventre, who said, "Possibly the gods exist, and possibly they do not. So why not believe in them in any case? If it's all true you'll go to a lovely place when you die, and if it isn't then you've lost nothing, right?" When he died he woke up in a circle of gods holding nasty-looking sticks and one of them said, "We're going to show you what we think of Mr Clever Dick in these parts..."

Yup. Apparently Disney released it without much fanfare. Must.... muster up.... energy..... to.... see it...

Oh, who am I kidding? I'll probably sleep in.

To me, this is the perfect example of "Do Animated Shows Live Up to the Hype?" Seriously, do we really need to see what happens to the gang?
90% of the plot points will probably have some new terror threatening to demolish the jungle/capture one of Tarzan's pals. Just my guess...

Mainstream critics seem to think it's nice, acceptably exciting fare for kids.

    Which probably means it sucks.

LOL, they sound hilariously stupid. I gotta catch it sometime...

You know, they could have went for a Conan the Barbarian kind of thing (I'm speaking, of course, or the excellent 1970s comic stories, not more recent efforts...), but obviously, they have to make it sub-cheese primitive.

It sucks. Really, really, realy, really bad. The new voice of Turk is worse than Rosie O'Donnel's voice. The animation isn't that great. The backgrounds are bad. It's all poorly done. Entirely missable.

How bad? Well, imagine a semi-deep voiced Richard Simmons and you get a small taste of the voice. It is grating.

    From what I'm hearing--

--or reading, here (as the case may be) it's the animated equivalent of Johnny Weismuller gettting too fat to fit into his Tarzan skin and then doing those Jungle Jim movies.

    Mr. Mayhem Guest

The Disney Tarzan (or Tar-Zaaan as they call it! Stupid!) never really cut it for me. It's too hokey with the talking monkey crap. There's really only one Tarzan and that's Johnny Weismuller.
