Disney animated series have a run of 54 episodes. So, most likely it will have a 2nd season.
I guess this means that we'll be seeing Jimmy's ugly CGI face pop
into all the different Nick shows like he's the all-important god of the
    network. God, I hate Nick.

Actually, it's usually a multiple of 13. Disney's old animated series (Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, Tale Spin, Darkwing Duck, and Goof Troop) all started out with 65 episodes for the Disney Afternoon. For Darkwing Duck, 2 13-episode seasons on ABC were added, for a grand total of 91 episodes. For Goof Troop, 13 new episodes were created for ABC for a total of 78 episodes.

More recent shows like Sabrina, the Animated Series have had 52 daily episodes and 13 episodes produced specifically for ABC. That's 65 episodes total. That seems to be the maximum that Disney will allow, unless a show is still a super-hit after the 65th episode. Kim Possible will most likely have 3 seasons at around 22 episodes each for a grand total of 65 episodes.

That's 66 episodes. Just to note, this really bad (and not animated) series by Disney based on the movie "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" (guess the name), "Honey I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Series" lasted 3 seasons of 22 episodes ending up at 66. I guess an extra episode was created. Just a tidbit I just picked up...

There have been many cartoon that have exceeded the 65-episode limit. (M.A.S.K, Original He-man Heathcliff, Snorks, Smurfs etc..)

Yet disney have at present, allowed only two of their shows to go beyond that number: Gargoyles and Gummi Bears!

Huh? What about Goof Troop, Darkwing Duck, Recess? Lots of Disney's stuff has gone beyond 65 eps.

    Kim Possible...maybe, we'll see.

    Later.
