    Am I the only one who wonders is carrying an exotic animal in a school, yet alone the United States is legal. The Naked Mole Rat originates in South Africa and I haven't seen the O.K from the government to bring it over here, Rufus could seriously damage the U.S's ecosystem! Plus he is allowed in restuarments, the naked mole rat most carry many diesases and shouldn't be allowed around human food! But I think Rufus is cute and funny, he's my favorite character XD;

You should see X-men Evolution. Excluding Storm, I think every mutant female on the show wears a midriff...

Back on subject, I like the naked mole rat. It's catchy, cute in a little devil kind of way.

    Later.

I don't like Kim Possible either. Not for the way she dresses but her personality. What a total snob. Anyway, about the naked mole rat did anyone of you know that Nancy Cartwright herself voices it? It's true!
I guess this means that we'll be seeing Jimmy's ugly CGI face pop
into all the different Nick shows like he's the all-important god of the
    network. God, I hate Nick.

I can't stand Kim Possible! It's not because of her clothes (I also like wearing midriff-bearing clothing from time to time ) it's because the show focases too much on the "I wanna be popular so the cute guy will like me even though the cute guy is a brain dead jerk" formula.
And the show gives off a message that being a geek is a bad thing! And, as we all know, there is nothing wrong with being a geek.

    they prolly wanted something creative.

disney made them have a pet, but they didnt just want a cat or dog. something unique.

I don't get this thread. You're basically asking "why does this show have something unique!?!? It doesn't make sense! People shouldn't be creative, they should stick to formulas!"

But who says naked mole rats carry disease?

I don't understand what your saying about Kim being Boy crazy she had a crush in "one" episode, that's not that bad compared to other shows. I think it turns the "kids in school." angle upside down.

I agree Cranks, holeheartedly and that's why I think it pretty much shines when compared to all its other Zoog counterparts. It actually has an innovative feel to it, that so many shows lack. Plus the Voice acting in my opinion is "spot on."

Idiotman - You've obviously never seen an "As Told by Ginger" episode that featured a naked mole rat, and man, was that thing ***-ugly! I think the creators did the right thing in making Rufus adorable and likable. (Nancy Cartwright's vocals help a lot, too.)

Ktkb3 - That slut! We oughta run her buns off of television right now! Also, baggy pants are soooo 10 minutes ago.

SpotLane - I don't detect any snobbish behavior in Ms. Possible.

BrendaBat - You must be (and probably are) thinking of the title character of Lizzie McGuire. The guy that she has a crush on, Ethan, is a frickin' void. He has the I.Q. of a carpet tack! Why is she wasting time on him, because he's cute?! Yeah, sure he's cute, but just how long is she counting on that to last?! Criminy! Also, look around; every show, from time to time, espouses the theory that being a geek is wrong. Sometimes, it's funny, sometimes it's not and sometimes, the treatment of geeks is pretty heavy-handed (I point my proverbial finger at "Saved by the Bell"). Though, I agree: there is nothing wrong with being a geek. Hell, I'm a geek in certain respects.

Rufus is a naked mole rat because:

    1. They’re so ugly they’re cute - kids are completely fascinated by them.

    2. Kids love to say the word "Naked"

    3. After trying for 4 years to get a naked mole rat in a TV series – the creators finally triumphed!

My God, Brian! That's just what it looked like on ATbG. Almost like someone took a baby walrus, turned it inside out and gave it paws. Yikes!
