Would I be wrong if I went to the Di$ney studios and clawed somebody's eyes out?

The second feature is The Lion King 1 1/2. As the name suggests, it will take place between the original 1994 feature and the recent direct-to-video sequel.

What?! You know, not a whole lot went on during the time Rafiki held up Kiara (Simba's daughter). I'm confused.

And all they're getting now is dirt.
But I swear, if they ever make a sequel to Mulan...

I hate to tell you.. but Disney IS making two sequels to Mulan..

Anyway, Lion King 1 1/2 is a movie starring Timon and Pumbaa.
I guess this means that we'll be seeing Jimmy's ugly CGI face pop

I should go over there and slap the person who even thought of bringing this up silly. But whatever I sure won't be watching it or any of the other crapy sequeals they put out.

    LOL.

You just figured that out now.

If you are upset at the Lion King then you will be crying at the lineup Disney has for their movies.

Good lord.... Lion King *ONE AND A HALF*?!?!? As someone said, not a whole lot was exactly going on when Rafiki was holding up Simba's daugther, there ;-) Though more likely, it's taking place after the end of the original film, but before his daughter's born in "Lion King II". Hence, the "one and a half" designation.

Yeesh... and Bambi *2*?! *Atlantis 2*?! Ack...

Sigh; compared to the sounds of these, guess "Baby Looney Tunes" *almost* sounds like a good idea...

A couple of those aren't really sequels - mainly Atlantis and Tarzan and Jane.

Tarzan and Jane is actually a compilation of three episodes of The Legend of Tarzan with ten minutes of added animation and a couple of new songs thrown in. As for Atlantis 2 - it's actually a compilation of the first three episodes of the canceled Team Atlantis series that was being produced by Greg Weisman of Gargoyles fame (one arc of the series even would have had the Atlantis team finding Demona).

As for Lilo and Stitch 2 (called Stitch: The Movie) - this sequel was already in production before the first film had even been completed. The movie will set up the Lilo and Stitch series (called Stitch: The Series) and will follow Jumba's other 625 expiraments landing on Hawaii and having to adopt to the island - much like Stitch did. Unlike their previous sequels though - this one still had a lot of the original staff involved and all of the major voices will be back for both the movie and series.

As for the rest of them - all I can say is UGH! Oh well, I guess we should be thankful that they aren't still pursuing the Snow White DTV sequel.

With the exception of" The Emperor's New Groove", "Atlantis", and to some extent, "Kim Possible", Di$ney has run itself into the ground realy hard.
The "Atlantis" sequle is probably the only one I'm looking forward to since it's suppose the pilot for the Team Atlantis series. And with Greg Weisman on board, there might be some hope. We'll see. The other sequles don't look all that promising. "The Search for Mickey" sounds like A retread of Mickey's 60th birthday special from 1988. Can't they come up with A story idea where Mickey dose something heroic for A change?!? (And I don't mean "Mickey's House Of Villians"!) Have him go on A quest to rescue Minnie, or something! There are plenty of old comics they could look at for inspiration! Good gravy, if I was working at Di$ney, I would give Mickey that kind of A storyline. I'd also give you people that Darkwing Duck movie you've been clammoring for as well. Give me reform or give me death. Besides, they knew the job was dangerous when they took it, Fred. (Oops, wrong series)

According to imdb, Lion King 1 1/2 will be a retelling of The Lion King Movie.

Lion King 1 1/2: Hakuna Matata, The (2003)

Plot Outline: Timon the meerkat and Pumbaa the warthog retell the story of The Lion King, from their own unique perspective.

Well, as for myself, I liked Atlantis. I really enjoyed the animation. I'd be interested in seeing the DTV. At least it'll be a whole lot better than that awful Peter Pan sequel. (I'd also like to see a sequel of Mulan too. lol)

You know, the lilo and stitch series actually sounds good to me. I like aliens n' creatures and seeing 625 different ones is the perfect premise for a show/movie to me :P

Bird Boy just posted up a news article about the Stitch DTV and series. This article can be found here. After really enjoying the animated movie I hope the series can continue the excellence that has already been established for the characters of Lilo and Stitch.

I can deal with an Atlantis sequel. I can also deal with a Lilo and Stitch sequel. I can even deal with a Lilo and Stitch series, but Lion King 1 1/2 is just...well I don't know what to say except that Disney extremely frustrates me!! I am so sick of these sequels, I have run out of hateful words to describe them!

This is reminiscent of the SNL parody from a few months back That would make a great movie - better than the dreck they're coming out with now.

    2 Mulan sequals?

My respect for the Mickey Mouse operation has gone down sharply
