    Holla Peanuts fans

    Hmmm....

It looks as though Viacom and Turner have lost their broadcast rights to the Peanuts movies if Toon Disney, a channel of ABC Cable, is airing it.

Actually, a lot of networks have the rights (like Fox Family before the Disney aquisition), that is...to the movies. As of present, Nick and Viacom has the rights to the Peanuts Specials/TV Series, but that might change, as Disney-owned ABC has aquired the rights to the Holiday (Great Pumpkin, Thanksgiving, Original Christmas) and new Specials (like the recent Valentine Special). Who knows? Nick may choose not to renew the contract with United Media when it expires (it was rediculous to renew if they were not going to air the specials anyway) or United Media may cancel the contract ("AIR THE SPECIALS NOW OR WE'LL CANCEL!!!!") and start a new one with ABC Cable.
I think Scooby-Doo is knida over-rated and all of the HB Dogs should be praised.
Wouldn't it be great if their could be more Peanuts specials on DVD?
It was just what my career needed - I was at the top and now I'm at the bottom.
