I will take a look over that tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up!

P.S. Disney is indeed working on Ultimate Roger Rabbit DVD with Jerry Beck working on it.
See ya later and save that Rabbit.
I will take a look over that tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up!
I signed it.
And in case anyone's interested, here's a link to a movie preview page that includes a script review of what might have been...
I remember reading on conmingoon.net a few months ago that they actually planned a Roger Rabbit prequel. This didn't happen, of course, because it was would have been too expensive to make in 1991. According to the article they are looking into making it now with CGI.
I don't see the purpose of this. If we already know that they are going to make an ultimate DVD then we should be content. Di$ney has shown how badly they treat franchises. I don't want them to screw up Roger Rabbit like they have with every thing else.
Spielberg is to blame since he owns half the rights and will not let Disney use him in future shorts and films for now. It's a long story but it look like things might be turning around.
El Goober, thanks for posting that link, but now I'm torn. At first, I was glad they wouldn't make a sequel because I thought it would in no way be as good as the classic original. Now that it sounds soooo very cool, I'm dying for them to make it!
Petition signed and I'm looking hopeful.

I recall a Roger Rabbit taxi-car ride in the Toontown in Disneyland. Does one movie really need more than one ride?"Save Roger Rabbit Petition
"We’d also like to see more Roger Rabbit-based theme park attractions (like the proposed “Toontown Trolley” and “Baby Herman’s Runaway Baby Buggy Ride”)..."
Oh, and I checked out the Roger Rabbit 2 script.Sorry to say, but this sounds....well....."full" is the only word I can think of. There's a bit too much plot {and stuff that doesn't really rest well with me....Roger grew up with humans?}, and the idea's kind of far-fetched. Then again, so was the idea of a toon commiting murder, but I think we could forgive them that time.

And besides, most people look at this type of topic unrealistically. They are all under the apparent misconception tha--oh, wait. Is my post over? Ah, okay.

No biggie.El Goober, thanks for posting that link
I also read on another site (I forget where... I'll try to dig it up) that there were 3 other Roger Rabbit movie scripts being worked on, another prequel, and 2 sequels. The other prequel was going to a spoof on musicals, with Roger Rabbit doing a dance duet with Gene Kelly; one sequel was called "Where Is Roger Rabbit?" and it was about Roger getting amnesia and getting lost in Toontown... when he's finally found, he's convinced he's a human and not a toon; the other sequel was based on the Roger Rabbit novel sequel, by Gary Wolf (the original Roger Rabbit movie was based on his first Roger Rabbit novel).
